I had an attic room with very large beams on one side of the room, everything very clean, good bed , decent bathroom, small shower.when windows are closed not much noise from the street.
Breakfast not what I’m used to, tinned fruitsalad, no ham.
Parking of motorbike €5, bike , clearly visible from street behind a gate with no lock.
Price room €120, which is the most expensive on this trip, quite a lot for what you get, bad Wifi (wlan) but good location.

The hotel location was exceptional, we had a room that faced north and looked straight over a cobblestone road onto the “Ozeaneum” ocean museum. It was very convenient for walking around the harbor areas as well as the old town. 

Splendid location

This accommodation is in a great location and has parking which can be booked in advance. I feel it is suited to outdoors types as the floors are all hard with no carpet. The décor hasn't been updated since the 1980s. I was a bit miffed to face a charge for Wifi too.

Dated decor

We are travelling in the northern part of german and this pension is the worst accomodation we found. We asked for one big bed but instead we found two twin beds, with one below a very low roof. It is very dangerous because you can easily hurt your head while getting up. The staff cannot speak a world in English and you can pay ONLY BY CASH!! Unbelievable! It's only pros is the position.

Worst accomodation

We are very happy with our stay at Pension Am Ozeaneum. Good, convenient locations to explore the city. Only a 2minutes walk to the historic town centre and opposite the harbour. Rooms where nice, clean with new big bathroom. Staffs were polite and helpful. Breakfast was served in a pleasant restaurant downstairs and the selection of food was great. If I go to Stralsund, I'll stay in that pension again for sure.

Excellent location

The best thing about this Pension is its location - close to the harbour and the historic town centre - though it does not have views of the water. It is comfortably furnished and breakfast was good. As other reviews have pointed out, though, the attitude of the proprietors to their guests is not very helpful. The owners do not live on the premises and refuse (unapologetically) to look after guests' luggage beyond 5pm, when they go home. Nor do they offer any secure storage for luggage.
