Good hotel with the underground nearby.
The rooms are ok but it can get too warm without air conditioning.
Breakfast is sufficiently wide with fruit, yoghurt, milk, coffe and German breakfast.
The check in is automatic and easy to operate. 

Ok for a short stop

A few warnings before I go further. One is that this "hotel" (I don't know what German standards are but this is definitely only a bed & breakfast in Ireland) has no personal working after 5pm. Therefore when I came into the room it was quite warm. Thankfully I have no problem with the German so I knew what I was doing but it still took me a half hour to operate the device to close down the blinds and control the heat. This could be problematic for a non German speaking guest. Secondly there should be a number which you can call if you have problems or do not have access to your room. I could not find any. Another helpful suggestion is to have somewhere where guests can sit by reception. My guests left to do something else as they did not feel comfortable waiting for me finishing breakfast. 

My room was on the 4th floor. It was comfortably furnished to a high standard. Particularly the bathroom was lovely. The only reason I can think of that this is a 2 star hotel is that they do not have anybody on reception after 5pm and there is (apart from breakfast) no food or drink available. 

There is no buffet which is unusual for German standards. Instead the owner who is a lovely, talkative & helpful man gives you an assortment of cheeses, meats and bread, plus there is fruit, yogurt and plenty of coffee available. This was superb. The area itself is not blessed with restaurant & bar amenities. This is something to think of when booking the hotel. Overall I was pleasantly surprised with the high standard of accommodation and breakfast provided available.This is why I am giving it a 4 star.

Better than expected but read my advise!

We stayed one night mid-week at this hotel and felt it provided comfortable accommodations in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to public transportation for getting around the rest of the city. The hotel itself was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful with advice about places to eat in the area. There is a small, but functional elevator for taking suitcases to rooms on the upper floors, such as the room we stayed in.

Our room was also very clean and had plenty of space. The room did feel a bit warm with the unseasonably warm June weather, but it helped to open our window in the evening and let in some cool air. There is no threshold edge between the shower stall in the bathroom and the rest of the bathroom floor, so water flows out of the stall onto the floor while you take a shower. But we put a towel down at the outside edge of the shower stall, and that prevented the water from going everywhere. This just seems to be a design of some showers in German hotels.

Even though this hotel connects to another hotel beside it with adjoining hallways, we found our room and the entire hotel to be quiet. Breakfast was provided on tables assigned to each room of guests in a nice eating area and was delicious with a good variety of German rolls, meats and cheeses, yogurt, fruit, and drinks. There is free parking provided behind the hotel that is a bit tight for space but is manageable.

Even though this hotel is north of the city center, there is a U-Bahn train station directly across the street in the middle of the intersection, so you can quickly reach other parts of the city. We spent time in the neighborhood surrounding the hotel and found it to have a good mix of restaurants and shops, including an Edeka grocery store that is two blocks away from the hotel.

Clean, comfortable hotel north of downtown

WE paid $90 for the night tax included on a busy night with many events going on in the city.

Great Continental breakfast.  Highly recommend the croissants.  The cappuccino and coffee was terrific.  Plenty of fresh fruit, jams, ham cheese and other items.  

The room was basic but very clean a comfortable.

Pleasant stay right by the train Station- easy ride to the downtown

I stayed here for two weeks of training for work. It is right off the U Bahn line which makes navigating the city easy. Free parking is provided but spots can fill quickly. The Wifi is VERY fast, especially compared to most of the hotels I've stayed at in Germany. A traditional German breakfast is provided. Neighborhood has shopping (e.g. Edeka, D&M) in walking distance. Good selection of bars and restaurants in walking distance. Rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. I will be staying here from now on when in Stuttgart. 

Great two week stay!

This hotel it's a small and nice place. Really practical, we arrived at 5 pm in saturday, our reserve was in an envelope with the key and the internet password. The room was small and clean, not really new but neither old one. Are two hotels in the same place, so the entrance is in the backdoor, The best par of it it's a typical german breakfast, just Bio food, also cheap, and the owner its really nice with the customers. The only thing for me was a little bit noisy in sunday morning but it was because there was a fleamarket. 
 I defenitivily would come back again.
