A bit like a castle from the Grimm brothers. So we felt when we arrived. What we first noticed besides the building itself, was the peace an quiet. Very relaxing. We had a room in the south wing with the most impressive bed we ever slept in. We were told by the owner that it stood once in an apartment on 5th avenue in New York.  Just loved it. Loved the whole south wing! Beautiful and quirky wallpapers and fabrics. Such a love to detail. We also had a very good dinner at the restaurant on a table with stunning views over the Neckar valley. Breakfast was equally good. Service impeccable. At the reception they even knew our dogs name. As a dog owner and lover one is of course deeply impressed.
Would go back any time. Had a really good time.

Wonderful

It's a very quiet old-fashioned house, a very typical hotel, I can't judge the restaurant because I stayed the day it closed, good breakfast, history-filled atmosphere.

For those who need to untie the spine.

We were very much looking forward to having a small family birthday party in the hunter's room. After a walk there was to be coffee and cake and the room was quite unkindly covered and since it was more practical to cut out the ordered cake and cake in the kitchen, we had to dictate to all the guests their cake, which was also OK, but unfortunately, we had already had to eat the table as quickly as possible. And all the guests had to get out of the room as quickly as possible, and we also had to show that the rest of the room was closed, and we didn't want to pay for the clock, but we wanted to show everyone that we wanted to get out of the house, and the rest of the room was closed as quickly as possible.

Birthday party

We celebrated our daughter's wedding at the castle. We had booked all the hotel rooms and performed the church wedding in the chapel as well as coffee, dinner and the whole party in the castle. All the guests were enthusiastic about the absolutely perfect service, the wonderful location, the friendliness and the brilliant food. We say a heartfelt thank you that we were allowed to celebrate here and would like to come back in a different setting.

Great location and perfect for a wedding.

The rooms are just beautiful; please, it's a few hundred years old castle, so the floors can be rusty and the doors can be a little quiet. The location and the view as well as the comfort are nevertheless great. The reception is super friendly! Great breakfast, the quality of sausage and cheese is top! Thank you - we will be glad to come back!

Great location, great ambience, great view

We spent three nights on a short vacation at Castle Weitenburg and were very enthusiastic. Authentic castle feel, wonderful green landscape, very good food, upbeat staff and with the master of the castle a host par excellence. Tips: Very sightseeing and probably real secret tips are the bishop's town Rottenburg and the Eyachtal with Haigerloch. With the AlbCard you get free into the museums. We were also enthusiastic about the short hike seven-tailer round. It will not be our last stay.

A very special holiday.

Our room had a wonderful view of the Neck Valley. The dinner was great and the terrace was great, too. The staff were very friendly and impressed us and made us write this review. The golf course is tricky.

Great staff.

By making a recommendation, we booked an arrangement. Menus on the castle terrace and overnight. In conclusion: we're back! Wonderful ambience, upcoming team, impressive view over the neck valley and delicious multi-course menu supplemented with regional wines. This was not guaranteed to be the last time.

Time for two

A castle as you imagine it: something that's aged, old and feels a little dusty. You have to like it. My case isn't. I was there for a seminar and there's really nothing to distract you from. Beautiful views of nature or the golf course. The service is nice and friendly, but also rather cozy. There's no wellness area, so it would really be a place to relax.

A real feeling of lock

Beautiful hotel, full of character.  Room was nice, but bathroom a bit small, especially the shower stall. The view was beautiful. Had dinner here, venison stew. What a huge amount of food, I could barely eat half. Staff were all very good, the waitresses were polite but not overly friendly though.
