We've stayed in this inn for the fifth or sixth time on our journey south. As always: extremely friendly reception, very nice host with entertainment value - rarely have we been greeted and courted in any other place. The prices are okay, both for the room and for the lavish and very tasty food. Thank you and welcome back!

I 'd like to go back

Actually, we wanted to spend a relaxed evening there with good food, but this was disturbed by the domestic dog that was constantly running by the guests. Not only was he constantly sniffing at the guests, but the food was also very interesting, so you couldn't enjoy your food in peace. Where food is offered, I expect no animals to be running around all the time. It's a shame that you couldn't just enjoy that good food. Unfortunately, the country inn won't be able to welcome me as a guest anymore.

I wanted to eat and not go to a zoo.

We spent one night in the inn. The room was well equipped, very clean everywhere; the owner and his son are doing an excellent job. You feel welcome, the food is prepared with a lot of love. The breakfast is great, especially very well prepared cereal. We would love to stay in Sulzheim again.

Good work

I was traveling with a colleague and I remembered a good inn near Schweinfurt. You arrive and feel well taken care of. Rooms are beautifully cut and equipped. Baths with a big shower and thoughtful thinking. The beer garden was open, service very kindly and cordially. The choice of dishes was very successful. The dish itself was cheap and delicious. A huge salad arrived, extremely exceptional and tasty. Breakfast rich, once again extremely friendly. I travel a lot, rarely felt so well accommodated.

Not to mention, excellent well-being factor.

I stayed for two weeks in the Goldener Adler Country Guesthouse for business reasons and did not regret my choice of accommodation for a moment. For organizational reasons, I moved the room after a week. From the time I arrived to the time I left, I was treated kindly and kindly in every employee contact. When I left, I received a small gift as a thank you. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and well received. It was flawlessly cleaned, except for hidden details, such as bsp. dust on the towers. The door of my first room was not properly locked and therefore had to be permanently locked.

On the way home

Although everything was reserved (Christmas celebrations), we were very kindly cared for and got a seat, eating great, the salad alone is worth a trip there.

Secret tip

WE visited the restaurant on the 2th of October 2016. with our 12 members of family. Everybody's food was very delicious!- the wine was perfect. The waiter was very polite and kind. The restaurant/hotel take cares for the children with many toys and they acitivated the PS4 game for our children. They surprised For our the teenager girl with a non-alcohol coctail and brought many small chocolate for all the children. While we were there we felt they really take care of our wishes.

Perfect service!

This convivial inn (Gasthof) proved to be a convenient solution when travelling from Munich to Frankfurt to catch an international flight back to Australia. Each accommodation that we called in larger, well-known locations on the route in May 2012 was full. For a final night in Germany, the Goldener Adler was congenial and well-appointed. It has with the family of the current owners since 1935. Our room was spacious and clean. The remaining road trip for the following day, with an evening flight, was easily achievable with time to visit picturesque Würzburg en route.

An enjoyable stay

Mostly we are charmed by the small villages in Bavaria, but this time we came way too late to enjoy the village. A dreadful day of trafficjams ended at 10:30pm at this hotel. We kind of prepared the owner that were arriving late, so he stayed up until we arrived. The whole hotel, bowlingalley and restaurant had the night off, so everything was dark, but he showed us to our rooms in a friendly manner. It was not the room we reserved sadly, but we saw beds and that was all that mattered. The beds were fine, the bathroom was nicely renovated and breakfast the next day left nothing to be desired. Everything was just okay. If we would have arrived earlier I would have objected to the other room, but for a little over a 100 euro we had our room, our breakfast and the next day a good starting point for the rest of our journey.
