Unfriendly and unreliable hotel management    when it comes to help clients change booking dates due to unexpected events (train strike). Tip: if you don’t want to lose your money, either get a good cancellation policy or go to a more customer friendly hotel on the island  

Unfriendly and unhelpful staff

We only stayed there because our flight came in a day before we were able to move into our self catering accommodation. 
I chose this place because all I wanted was a cheap bed for the night. Cheap as in cheapest I could get for that date; it was overpriced. 
Walked in and were engulfed by smoke which was horrible. Told the receptionist we were surprised they smoked inside and didn't get much of an answer. Same reaction in the morning with a different member of staff. I can only assume staff smoke themselves so are rather delighted to being able to do so at work. 
The room was perfectly alright. The bathroom on the very small side. Room didn't stink of smoke (although it did have an ashtray, despite having been assured by the receptionist it was non-smoking). 
Breakfast was nothing to write home about but it did fill our stomaches. 
Looking around closer in the breakfast room I'd say the place needs a deep clean. 
So all in all; if you need a bed for the night, it's bearable. But I would never ever spend my holiday there.
