We were crossing Germany by car heading for the Balkans and needed somewhere for an overnight stay, close to the A3 motorway. This guest house was ideal.
Unfortunately I don't speak German but the friendly woman who greeted me in reception tried hard to follow my request for a room. Once we had established that I had no reservation all went well, I think we used miming and French to communicate.
During our overnight stay she seemed to be running the show single handed, she took our order at dinner and served us a very tasty steak, she produced a selection of house wines for us to taste before we decided which to have and served the obligatory eggs at breakfast. The local male voice choir were having a beer in the bar followed by a song upstairs the night we stayed.
They have their own parking area off the street. The hotel seems to be having a facelift and overhaul of the accommodation rooms and public area, our room was newly refurbished. The bar and restaurant retains a traditional décor. They didn't seem to take Visa or MC cards so we paid cash.
Recommended.

Great for a stopover, lovely meal, one woman hotel

special place. Good breakfast. Quiet and pleasant place. most gracious hosts. There is a parking space. Too bad there is no elevator.

Beautiful and quiet place

We had a long journey back to UK and we stayed here for a night. The guesthouse is clean, nice and looks brand new, Situated in a nice typical German village 5 minutes from the motorway by the river Main. Half of that is under reconstruction but you can`t hear anything about it. The staff were very nice and polite. We had dinner (no English menu but free WiFi available, so you can use translator) :) which was excellent. My 3 years old boy got few toy cars from the waitress to keep him busy while we finishing the dinner. There were on the table next morning at breakfast time. :)

Bed was comfy and warm, king size so we can sleep well with my little boy and mummy. Bathroom was clean and good size.

We had private garage, so I don't have to worried about the car! :)

We definitely go back and probably stay few more nice to visit the area. :)
