An excellent modern, clean and friendly guest house in a beautiful location. Really friendly owners who have their own vineyards. A continental breakfast with a vast array of local produce including home made grape juice, jams, cheeses, yoghurts, meats and vegetables. Lovely rooms with comfy beds and modern shower rooms. Lovely big terrace where you can have breakfast, weather permitting. Many lovely places to visit within an hours drive. A perfect location to stay in. A fair few restaurants close by and also two supermarkets. Can thoroughly recommend.

Very comfortable guest house surrounded by beautiful scenery.

We stayed here for 4 nights and chose a room with catering facilities. We didn't use them much apart from the fridge and kettle which were both used a lot. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable with views of the vineyards and the Moselle.

We booked through Booking.com and it's very cheap for what you get

Christoph and Alexandra are the young couple who own the place, they're both very friendly and welcoming and speak excellent English. They don't provide evening meals but will book you into Stefan-Andres Weinstube restaurant which is excellent and owned by Alexandra's family.

Breakfast is worth paying for. Good quality and plentiful. 

They also make wine and there is a large fridge in reception which is well stocked with their range of wines. You simply take a bottle, and glasses, and fill in the sheet to let them know what you've taken. It's not expensive. We brought back several cases of their different wines.

Word of caution. You need cash to pay in this part of Germany. Credit cards are not yet the norm ... so it's a bit of a culture shock to most of us from the UK.

We booked this B&B through Booking.Com which gave it a very high rating.  We were not disappointed.  Everything about the place was first class including their own wine which is available to sample and buy.  Our room looked out over the vineyards and it was just a stone's throw to the river.  Our friendly hostess waited on us at the breakfast table.  In addition to  cooked meats, cheese and rolls a buffet of juices, yoghurt, and cereal was also available.  This is ideal accommodation for a short break on the Moselle. Our impression was that many guest houses in this wine growing area are geared up to people staying for shortish breaks. This might explain a lack of storage space in our room (apart from the wardrobe).   In a perfect world we would have liked some drawer space but this was minor issue.  This place is well worth considering if you are visiting the Moselle valley.
