The lady at the front desk was extremely unfriendly. I had a problem with my credit card, was labeled a liar, and I was threatened with police -- despite various suggestions for solutions from me.

A shameless receptionist

The hotel is very easily accessible by public transport. It has a bit of 80s charm but the rooms are renovated and neat. The beds are new and neat. The bathroom is really too small for an adult. The food in it is good homemade food, but nothing special. In total everything is ok but nothing special. But at around 90 euros I find it too expensive.

Rustic but all right

I travel a lot, I'm not so demanding. It was clean. But that was good. It was cold in the bathroom. The woman at the hotel wasn't very friendly. And it didn't go! We felt annoyed, not welcome! And we were happy to be gone the next day. Shame! Actually!

Shame, nice clean house... just the reception was... not nice!

Nice hotel, small but clean and comfortable room and mostly quiet and bright restaurant cheap but very good, Maultaschen salad super well stuffed and fries and grilled very good.

It's a nice surprise.

I spent a night at the Old Crown in Tübingen-Lustenau at the end of July 2018. The hotel is easily accessible by public transport from the train station, bus line 22 is practically at the door. The hotel is simple but clean. There is no luxury hotel and no holiday resort but everything you need for a night. My room and the associated bathroom were sufficiently large and well equipped. Since the hotel does not have an elevator, it is not recommended for disabled guests. The breakfast was fine, everything was good, coats, yogurt, cereal, sausage, jam and fresh fruit were abundantly available. The service was very free and helpful. Everything was in a good price-lease ratio.

Simple but good

It was simple and simple, but it was enough. Breakfast was kept the same. Delicious fresh bread. The only drawback was that the hotel was open, but the dining room was closed because of business holidays, which was not detectable when booking. So nothing except breakfast was possible. Lunch and or evening had to be eaten outside the house. There was also a small fridge in the room. Otherwise it was completely sufficient.

Price performance for area top

The rooms and bathrooms are newly furnished and very neat. The furnishings are kept simple, but as a sleeping place absolutely sufficient. The breakfast is a little scarce, but overall fine. Price/performance and overall impression are generally to be rated as good. A small tip: the kitchen offers good homemade dinner.

Good overall package

The hotel is very old. Price performance is bad. The room was freshly furnished, but there are no pictures and it doesn't seem comfortable. There are parking spaces in the yard.

Old hotel

This is a small hotel a bit out of town. Pleasant and comfortable, clean and modern facilities considering this is an old building. Waiting staff were very helpful when we arrived late at night. Good breakfasts spread for a budget hotel. 

What you need after a long day 

This was the cheapest hotel in the area and only needed a nights stay. rooms are basic but clean. Shower room is small but clean and newly refurbished. restaurant is adequate and dinner was actually good. Service was acceptable. 
Whilst it is not the best I have stayed in it is by no means the worst. It was convenient for what i needed so I am happy with it.
