Undeloh

Smes Hof is a small hotel that's gotten a little old. It's clean and well equipped, but not new. The house is located in the center of Undeloh and you can get there by short roads everywhere. It's perfectly sufficient for a short break. The breakfast was excellent. Local specialties, seasonal fruit and salad were offered. The buffet was repeatedly served. The hosts were very nice and gave us good tips.

Cost-effective accommodation

We were there with our family (6 adults, 4 children aged 10 and 18) for a weekend. Unfortunately, it was not possible to divide 5 double rooms in one wing. One room had to be occupied in the old building and the slightly crumbling construction made the roads to the other rooms very distant. The elderly hosts were surprisingly improbable and our questions were very poorly answered. Most rooms are very simple and old. The buffet was fine. The evening was fine, but the early morning meal was well booked with one hour's rent. Even in the evening we had to take a quick walk to the old buildings. We also had to sit on the stairs with our own bicycles.

The hosts are more than unfriendly and rude. Breakfast buffet ok but not superb. Rooms are small, old-fashioned and really just for sleeping. The bathroom isn't exactly inviting. If you want to be comfortable, you shouldn't book here. Lunch is not offered. For dinner you have to skip to one of the other inns. We were here about a Groupon voucher... this Groupon promotion is actually supposed to be a promotional event... but in the case of the Smes office, the shooting is more likely to go backwards. We'll never come back and we'll definitely not recommend.
