We drove from the Rhineland to Croatia and stopped over in this lovely place. Nice clean rooms and quiet with a luxurious breakfast.

We walked though the village to look for a restaurant and ended up in Wittelsbacher Hof again, great dinner too. Lovely staff.



Nice break on our way south

Very clean and comfortable, reasonable priced hotel. With an excellent breakfast. The restaurant for dinner was quite nice as well.  A reasonable walk from the train station and literally across the street from the dock to board the boat for the River Cruise 

Excellent location to stay to before a River Cruise 

Nice location few km from the motorway exit, very good to explore the nice Danube surroundings.
Sumptuous breakfast and very good dinner, with a refined choice of meals.
Quiet rooms, old style, into quite a old building.

Ubernachtung am Donau

Stayed here for two nights as layover on a business trip.   A great family run hotel that provided a very comfortable stay.  Ideally located for short strolls through the old town and along Donau river.  Delicious German food in great beer garden.

Great value in a beautiful location

The hotel was a great choice overall. Clean rooms and excellent location, especially if you’re taking a river boat cruise (port is maybe 50 yards away). The hotel isn’t plush, but it’s in a historic building and quite comfortable. Excellent breakfast included with many choices of breads, yogurts, cheeses, cereals, meats, eggs, fruit, etc.  It even included Prosecco! We definitely would return if in the area again. Note that the entrance to the hotel is on the side of the building and reception is on the first floor (up 1 flight of stairs or take the elevator). Entrance looks like you’re going into the hotel restaurant, but it’s the main entrance and reception and restaurant are up on first floor. Very nice hostess. 


Great Choice on Quality and Location.

We stayed here the night before our river cruise to Budapest.  The room was large, though the internet was slow and spotty.  The bed and pillows were adequate.  We were less than 100 meters from the boat, making it easy to get our luggage on board.  The hotel is near the old town center and less than 0.5 miles from the train station.  The room was super-quiet, too.  The breakfast was unreal.  Meats, eggs, cheeses, yogurt, breads, etc.  It actually is a meeting place for the town, as there must have been 70 people at breakfast.  It can’t be beat for the price.

Very Close to River Cruise Dock, Fantastic Breakfast

Nice hotel, room was clean and spacious at a reasonable rate.  Breakfast was included and was great.  The best part was the hotel (in typical Bavarian style) was located 200 feet from where the Monarch Baroness (Gate 1 Travel) docks.   Good choice to stay for an evening.

Waiting for the river cruise

We thought the hotel was great except for the internet service which was very poor. The breakfast was exceptional with lots of choices which were all tasty. The best thing about the hotel is that it was about a 3 minute walk under the street to our cruise ship.
