My wife and I wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary in a four (!) star hotel, and I remembered good feedback about the crested height of relatives living on the mountain street. That's why I booked relatively uncritically. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed after the first night. The reason: much is very sloppy and dirty, the coronation was a completely dirty pillow we found in the closet, two single floors were turned down when we first tried to put something on it; in addition, it smelled of smoke everywhere, already in the bathroom. The experience photo on the opening page of the homepage shows the bathroom being without water and no longer running in the modern bathroom, as well as the hall. All the facilities for entering the hotel were a big, dirty pillow, but I could not enter the bathroom if it was not filled with a large, bright ballroom, and the bathroom was completely empty.

We were invited here to a birthday party of elderly gentlemen. After waiting about 15 minutes, the decision to choose this hotel was more than satisfied with a similar celebration here about 10 years ago. Unfortunately, this hotel, although 4 stars, is very downsized. It started when we checked into the hotel. The host had booked more rooms and was on time and was the first to serve a check-in. After waiting about 15 minutes, there was no one at the reception and passing staff was more than satisfied. Unfortunately, we had a service that told us it took 2 minutes, but we were served a very nice bottle of water for the old tea. But after about 15 minutes, the lady of the room finally appeared. The table was filled with a glass of wine and was the first to be served at the place.

Never again

Where these four stars come from, I'm intrigued. 40 years ago they were appropriate, but today??. Everywhere the charm of the past years. Wedded furniture, not working hot tub bath, etc. Only the surviving waiter, old school man, knew how to convince.

4 stars?

Very nice bathrooms, large rooms almost all with balconies.Enough parking spaces. Very quiet.Excellent kitchen and very nice guest rooms suitable for all parties.Close to the hotel playgrounds, summer bike path, climbing garden and a free swim.

Sunny elevation

Sunny location on a hill in the Odenwald, lots of leisure attractions nearby, big rooms... but unfortunately apparently there's not enough money to stop the clutter of time. There's a need for renovation everywhere (except for the bathroom), the sauna area is very unpleasant, the garden is wild and everywhere you discover big and small flaws. Yes, and the WiFi only works in the lobby and the breakfast buffet for the few guests here.
