The hotel is situated in a beautiful part of Germany, north of Berlin but central to all transport links via the Autobahn. We went as two couples and one single traveller, were allocated three adjoining rooms with our own shared balcony, which was great to sit out with a glass of wine after dinner. Rooms were large and clean, bathrooms were clean but quite small (wasn't any problem though). We booked a summer special, 5 nights DBB and it was amazing value for money. Breakfast was varied (including continental as well as scrambled eggs and bacon) and service was second to none. Dinner was plentiful, fresh and tasty. We can not praise the hotel any more. Wonderful place and wonderful people, thank you.


Great base for our family holiday

I chose the Utz Jay because it seemed close to the lake and center of town yet down a street that would possibly allow for some peace and quiet in the evening hours... Incredible value for the price.. Clean room... They even leave purified water to drink, brush your teeth.. And even remind you to use the water for that purpose.   The breakfast in the morning is in a pleasant enclosed area.. Great coffee, orange juice and a full breakfast menu.   Only a block away from Calle Santander where everyone sells anything you could possibly want or need.   Good restaurants within walking distance and two German Shepards on the grounds  if you have any safety concerns...
