Stayed for one night during my business trip, the room was simple but had everything I needed. The location is perfect, close to the main square/street with restaurants and bars. Parking is possible in a garage opposite the hotel for 5€/night. 

Nice hotel in a good location 

If you like comfort or staying in Weiden for more than night, this might not be the best choice. 
We were in town for our military ball and needed to stay somewhere cheap for one night and close to the event.
Early check-in was possible and very much appreciated. I arrived first and was a bit confused as the hotel has a big piece of paper with names and room numbers on the wall right when you enter. The keys are in the door of your room so you basically just go in on your own. I
I am not very sure if that is a good practice as I knew all the room numbers of other arrivals.
I was greeted by the family who own the place and since I did not understand the system,  they took me into my room.
Room was small with very basic equipment, box TV and curtain into the bathroom instead of some door.
Parking was available in underground garage right outside of the hotel and costs  euro for hours.
Breakfast was very simple and disappointing. 
We paid  59 euro for one night and I must say that we expected way more than this.

Stayed here for one night, good location and friendly personal.
When arriving were pleased to see or names on welcome list near the entrance. If you arrive late - u talk to reception by intercom and may enter your room, but need to be able to talk german or english, which we luckily did.

The room is simple but clean, good bed, and i liked the material of bed sheets very much!
It is fast to warm the room with heating.
There is also a table, wardrobe, 2 chairs, hair dryer, enough towels, retro-tv.

Breakfast was also simple but good. You can take yoghurt with fillings, bread and cheese/sausages. Coffee and eggs are served by personal.
Note that breakfast begins and ends early.

Also note, that if u ask for internet access - this is only for one device, ask more if needed.
A little bit sad was that the check-out is the earliest i've ever been to, at 10-30 they will call you and ask to leave. I got sad cause needed some more wc but got stressed...

Big plus of hotel is an underground parking right in front of it, ca 10 euro for the night, but your car is in a safe and warm place, with elevator access to the street in front of hotel. 
Also wonderful cozy old city in 3 minutes of walking, and some shopping in the area. 

Our room had a look at the church, it rings in the morning but beautiful and not loud.

A good advice is also to visit therme-spa in 10 minutes from there by car. U can swim in pool and choose many saunas there. To find something to eat - search in the old city, nearer to old gate on the other side than hotel.
