We were there three weeks ago. Never again, it's dirty, mold in the shower. The room is completely messed up, the beds look like someone just got up. Urine traces from the previous one in the bathroom. We also didn't have to ask for a vaccination card, we didn't have to fill out a shelter form. Hand sanitization wasn't possible because the donors weren't working. We were there for four nights, and I took my foot fungus as a souvenir.

It's just disgusting!

From checking in, the biggest laugh. A cool-looking employee, who had no clue what it was, to only cash payment, to the scariest room anyone has ever seen, and the beds were just sliding together and slipping apart in the morning, so you were on the dirty floor. Cabinets could be written on, who knows who and when our message is reading it.

From the beginning, it's worth a lot of laughter, but at the end, it's just gone.

Very nice little inn with wine cellar and restaurant. It's right in the middle of the street, but at night it's quiet. Lovely decorated with old furniture, softwood, biedermeier, founding period, gelsenkirchener baroque. Richly served breakfast with a very friendly price!

Interim stop to visit the spa in Euskirchen

We've already left this hotel after an unprecedented and shameless check-in. Disruptingly unfriendly staff. Our question is whether our booked room is in this building or in the neighbouring dependency, the rough answer is to pay first. Finally, we were asked to determine the specific time we'll arrive for breakfast.

Just get out of here!

Very clean and pleasant room. Restoration: good quality price ratio. Typical frame and well organized team very nice and welcoming. In short, an address to remember. You have to speak German or you can do it with a little English.

Overpriced. The regular room price had been raised from €62.-€109.-€ for a fair. For a spicy breakfast, €5.90 was charged. It consisted of 2 loaves, some marmalade and a little slice. The advertised Wi-Fi does not work in the room, only in the restaurant. Annoying noise in the room, heating is constantly on even though the regulator is at zero. Restaurant was cozy, food was delicious and its price was worth it. The coffee was warm and thin. The espresso offered as a consolation cup was probably the same coffee served only in the espresso cup. Not again.

Nice room.

I war 1 Wochenende in diesem Hotel. Leider habe ich vorher nicht die Bewertungen gelesen. Hätte ich es mal getan!! Um zum Zimmer zu gelangen musste ich durch einen Innenhof. Die Richtung wurde angegeben mit...."gehen sie bis dahin wo die Stühle stehen, da ist die Tür." 
Im ganzen Innenhof standen Stühle und noch einiges mehr an Schrott und alten Möbeln rum. Da schwante mir schon nichts gutes. 

Das Zimmer war DRECKIG. Der Schrank zugestaubt und zwar innen und aussen. Alles was im Zimmer stand hatte Staub drauf. Die Toilette war schmutzig. Das Bett hatte Flecken, der Boden auch. Das Zimmer roch unangenehm stickig und staubig. De Handtücher sind knochentrocken und dünn. Im Bad befindet sich lediglich Seife. 
Das Wlan ist kostenlos und wird angepriesen, funktioniert aber nicht sehr gut. 

Mir viel am ersten Morgen ein Q-Tip auf den Boden. Ich hab den liegen lassen und siehe da, abends lag der immer noch. Man hatte das Bett gemacht, den Müll mitgenommen und das wars. Die leere Wasserflasche stand auch noch auf dem staubigen Nachttisch. 

Also sowas hab ich noch nie erlebt. Das war, gelinde gesagt, erschreckend. 

Das Frühstück war mit Abstand das Phantasieloseste was ich jemals in einem Hotel hatte. 2 Brötchen, Kaffee, Marmelade und 3 Scheibchen Wurst...blos kein Schinken, Ei oder Orangensaft. Das Frühstück ist nicht im Hotelpreis enthalten. 5,90 EUR ist OK für das was man bekommt. ABER, bei 59 EUR/Nacht und der Qualität des Hotels find ich es unverschämt das Frühstück extra zu berechnen. Es nützt auch nichts wenn man Kaffee oder Tee bestellt.....bestellt man Kaffee bekommt man Tee. Bestellt man Tee, bekommt man Kaffee. Ich bin immer noch schockiert.....Wie das Essen ist kann ich nicht sagen. ich hatte keine traute da essen zu gehen. 

Hotelrechnung? Pustekuchen…..also, das ist der absolute Hammer was da abgeht. Bleibt bloß weg da.

I stayed for 2 nights. I should have checked the reviews like I normally do. I certainly wouldn’t have stayed there. To get to the rooms I had to walk through a courtyard full of chairs and old furniture they obviously took outside, but neglected to take to the junk yard. I was instructed to walk to where...." the chairs are” to find the door to my room. That proofed diffcult considering that they had chairs and old furniture everywhere. 

The room was, simply put, FILTHY.  The furniture was full of dust. The shelves inside the coset full of dust. Everything in the room was cover in dust.  The tollet was dirty. The bed had dirt spots and so did the floor. The room smelled unpleasant. It smelled musky and dusty. The towels were bone dry and thin. There was nothing in the bathroom except soap. 
 
This was more like a run down hostel.
WLAN is offered for free, but it doesn’t work very well, so it is useless.

I dropped a q-tip on the floor on the first day and figured I leave it there to see if anyone came to clean. Course the q-tip was still on the floor when I got back in the evening. Bed was made, garbage was taken out and that was all. The empty water bottle was still on the dusty night stand.

I have never experienced anything like this. It was shocking.

Breakfast was, by far, the worst I ever had in a hotel.  2 rolls, coffee, a bit of jam and three slices of lunch meat. No ham, egg or orange juice. And you pay extra for it. Unlike common in most German hotels, here breakfast is not included. They charge 5,90 EUR for it. Considering how bad the breakfast was and how expensive the crappy room is, this breakfast should be included.

It doesn’t matter if you order coffee or tea. If you order coffee you will get tea. If you order tea, they will bring coffee.   

They do have a restaurant, but after looking at the room I wasn’t brave enough to try that.

Hotel bill? Forget it. I think they can’t manage. This is the absolute worst experience I ever had. 
Smart though they didn’t ask if I liked my stay. I am still in shock. 

Stay away from this place!

2 nights I will regret for a long time/2 Übernachtungen über die ich mich noch lange ärgern werde

I spent a week in this hotel, on my trip to the IDS as exhibitor. when we saw the hotel for the first time we were totally socked! The hotel is soooo dirty and dusty and aslo none of the owners speaks english and just to take the keys for our rooms it took us almost an hour. The rooms are disgusting, and they smell so weird. The worst thing of all is that the blankets and the sheets were dirty and also for 7 days they didnt change at all the towels!!! The worst place that i have ever been in my life! It's a complete waste of money and the place is so filthy. Plus the wifi never worked in the rooms. you had to go outside of the reception to get some poor signal. I do not recommend it AT ALL!

This hotel must close immediately!

Staff were friendly. Room was large. Breakfast was better than I expected. Area was lovely and quiet. Walking distance from train station, about 800 meters. 30 minutes by train to central station Koln. About €15 return. Don't take taxi €55-70 one way.

Overnight 

We were 6 people And we have stayed at many guesthouses and we love to stay there. The rooms were in another building and the rooms were ok, but the Air stood still, so it was very warm and i felt wet. The breakfest was not what we are used to At German guesthouses, this was very boring. No vegetables no juice only coffe or tea. We SAW it later That we could Ask for big breakfest that  had juice, And if you want shinken, you have to tell them in front, so they get paid. I guess they have an economist, That have study and learned dont do anything if you dont get a dollar.
Very easy parking And there is a great biergarten 100 meters away.
