We were travelling from the UK through to Venice and were booking accommodation ad hoc. We booked this little gem last minute as it was just off the main dual carriageway. We managed to park and tried to check in. Obviously it was a Sunday and the restaurant and bar where you also queue to check in were manic. I think the whole town were eating there so it took a while to check in. I can’t say we were shown to our room, we were handed a key and abandoned but managed to find the right corridor to our room. The room was lovely, bright and light, with a balcony overlooking a nice view. We booked a table and went and sat at the bar. The Weiss beer was delicious after a long drive. The food later on was lovely, home cooked food and enormous portions which we had to take with us the next day. Breakfast was ample. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely recommend and hopefully return. One of the highlights of our road trip.
