Spontaneously, we went out on a Sunday as two and wanted to get well cooked in the bear... We hadn't reserved and were glad that we still got a table... We were lucky and we were immediately assigned to a table, we had to clear this one up after ordering drinks and food and we were implemented- something went wrong with the reservation, two other guests pounced on this table, but we didn't make any claims there. This can happen and it wasn't a problem, but the sound makes the music of the waiter!☝️ To eat: Cabbage cream soup, since we don't eat so many cleaner, flatter soups, on demand, but not so much of the sausage soup is served but so much of the sausage can't be ordered! The sausage was definitely served from us, but we wouldn't have been able to eat a whole meal in the city, and of course we wouldn't have been able to get a whole other place to eat, but we would have been able to go to a whole lot of other places, but the sausage soup and sausage would have been served

My two children and I really enjoyed staying at the traditionally run Bear Hotel. The rooms were very convenient and clean. The food was very tasty for a three-star restaurant. The service staff did a really good job even though the restaurant was very well visited. The price-performance ratio is top in this hotel!

Exceeding expectations

Besides, you can eat very well here. In any case, you should reserve a table, because, especially on weekends, the place is very crowded. There are special room rates for parents whose children study in vineyards.

Clean rooms

The room was absolutely beautiful roomy and well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant at hotel was one of the better places we ate. Breakfast was included and very fresh and traditional. The location is a bit of a walk to the lake down a very steep hill but close to historic sites.

Lovely and perfect

I felt like I was in a youth hostel in the '80s here. Everything was very rustic, furnished to a purpose. Much needed to be renovated. The staff was very determining when breakfast/checking out. (Guest) friendly is different. Breakfast was very good except for the coffee.

Very rustic

We spent two days in the bear. We found a very good kitchen combined with comfortable hotel rooms. There was nothing to complain about. Parking lots in front of the house and wool included. The breakfast was very balanced and prepared with fresh ingredients from the area. In the restaurant I can highly recommend the calf cut. The deer goose was also top. The waiter was very attentive and friendly despite the restaurant being full in the evening. As you would expect, of course. We would love to come back.

A very pleasant stay in vineyards

We stayed on the top floor in a large apartment. We had a traffic jam, we arrived after 9 p.m. We were welcomed, we got dinner and very well. Ht in the city center, with easy location and parking. Typical breakfast, well served. The difficulty is the lack of guidance in a second language, which is characteristic of what it seems. It's worth knowing the Lake Constanza region!

It's worth it!

In the living room in this building we were particularly amazed by the size of the two bedrooms we used. Very large, clean and quiet rooms. Breakfast in order for all tastes. The hotel also has a restaurant that we did not enjoy, however. Free room outside the hotel door.

Particularly large rooms

This pleasant guesthouse is located in the centre of Weingarten just below the Basilica and in walking distance to the shops. The rooms were spacious and very clean and the bathrooms well equipped. Wifi was excellent and included. Breakfast included in the price and very pleasant. The Hotel also has a restaurant serving local delicacies which was very pleasant and reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful with luggage assistance and taxi bookings and made all guests feel welcome. Would stay again when next in town.

Lovely family run guesthouse in central location

I booked the room in advance, it turns out that the reservation is missing, they've moved into the hallway on the first floor, the rooms are crowded and noisy, there's not enough staff, there's only one person for every function, breakfast is scarce, dinner is nowhere to eat, room service is nowhere.
