We were very pleased and welcomed by the hosts. Everything was taken into account, down to the details. The rooms were harmoniously furnished, everything was harmonious, we enjoyed the lounge with teebar. The beds are very comfortable, sleeping at home is not as good as here. The location is perfect. We will be back here next year. Thank you very much for the unforgettable stay.

Perfect stay in perfect accommodation

The garden is great, the pond could be dangerous for families with small children without a fence, unfortunately no breakfast, beds are all over the place, the location and cleanliness are fine, some of the staff are nice.

A beautiful garden

We had planned to stay in pairs, as a friend came along spontaneously so that a delivery bed could be arranged. We had plenty of room in the room as well as in the bathroom. We had a nice balcony in the backyard where we would spend beautiful evenings overlooking the green. The breakfast offered a large and fresh selection. On request, it was even possible to get a lactose-free milk alternative. The service was friendly and very convenient. There was a cost of postage cards, which are also shipped free of charge. It's a pity that there is only WiFi at the reception. For this, however, the hotel offers a private room with a very small bar. We were welcome and would return anytime!

Lovely and friendly accommodation!

The pictures on the homepage and the reality are two different things. After that we have a completely different room, two separate pine wooden beds and a very small room in a 70-year-old building.

We stayed at Friesenhof for one night only, but it was a night that made us decide that we will visit this lovely hotel again. Everything was as close to perfect, just as you want it to be. On arrival we were welcomed by one of the staff that showed us to our rooms, and gave us all the useful information about the hotel and the surroundings 
The rooms were impeccable with lovely beds and fluffy cushions and duvets. The room aswell as the bathroom was clean and tidy. We had a nice balcony overlooking the large garden where birds sang. The breakfast had everything you possible can ask for and more, meaning a glas of bubbly if you like.

We fell in love, in both the hotel and the island and will most certainly come back again next year, but then for a much longer stay

A hidden gem, on a secret island

I used to go to the North Sea often with my parents. Traditionally, we always went to the same hotel. From the second year onwards, we were approached personally and felt at home. That's exactly what happened in the freezer yard. I didn't have to check in. I was trusted, and so was the whole atmosphere at the hotel. It was just family friendly. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. There was nothing to turn away from the bathroom. Breakfast on the bright ground floor overlooking the beautiful garden is good and sufficient. Everything is just like staying with best friends.

It's a bit like it used to be.

We spent two nights here in a holiday apartment and that was for the price of a snack. The location in Wenningstedt is fine if the room is not to the street. Overall, everyone was very nice and helpful. The apartment itself is no longer the newest but cozy. Kitchen lines didn't look like it would be suitable for longer stays... overall a further recommendation.

Price performance in the offseason is correct

We had rented two holiday apartments in August, one of which was supposed to accommodate up to three people. The dishes were enough for four people to wash after every meal. The existing dishwasher is sufficient. The furnishing of the apartment left wishes open, for example, there were no sharp kitchen knives or cutters. Unfortunately, there was no backpack, only a microwave. We had problems with a defective drain in the sink, it took practically the whole vacation until it was washed by the housekeeper. Price-performance ratio: for what we found the price was too expensive. Top: the magnificent park in the hotel and holiday amenities. There is also a value there that can't be bothered by the car, which is the only thing you can recommend to the customer.

Vacation apartments are not optimal

The hotel is about 5-10 minutes' walk from the beach. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast buffet is lovingly arranged and has a very large selection (perfect). The room was very clean.

Comfortable hotel located in the centre

Nice hotel near the beaches, with free indoor parking (and in Wenningstedt it's not uncommon). Very comfortable, spacious and furnished with good taste. Absolute cleanliness, very comfortable bed. In short, it's a real pleasure to stay here. It's a shame that the length of stay is only one night. The price is unique. A little expensive compared to the prices in Germany.
