We were in the accommodation with 14 people and everyone felt it was very pleasant. Rooms are good and clean. Breakfast is very good and rich. Overall a nice atmosphere and only 10 minutes to downtown. Thank you and maybe see you soon.

I thought everyone was very good.

We were there with a group, and the hospitality was great. Breakfast was also very rich. Rooms and bathrooms were good for two people and were always well maintained. We always walked along the stand to Westland.

Great hospitality

Hotel (pension) on the southern edge of Westerland. A small, probably former single-family home, with rooms that are small but clean and tidy, although the setting is more like a retirement home than a modern hotel. The pillows were clumpy, the TVs tiny. A late check-out, i.e. 12:30 instead of 11:00, was not welcome. In February.

Small, nice accommodation that is even within walking distance of the centre of Westerland, a bus on Line 2 stops at the corner and takes a bus to the ZOB. Reception very friendly and open wishes were pleased to be fulfilled, I had given up breakfast, but this was sufficient and well presented, coffee to go was pleased to be provided free, which I felt was a great plus. Free W LAN is available, a well-stocked mini bar was in the room, which was also packed every day if needed. Rooms were perfectly ok, size perfectly sufficient.

It's all right.

A small, snug hotel that offers exactly what you need for an island vacation on Sylt: a quiet, clean retreat in a central location with a good, rich breakfast and friendly and thoughtful service staff! The beach and the centre of Westerland are within walking distance. The public transport network is only a few metres from the hotel.

Everything works for the economy in this establishment which is by no means a hotel! No reception and everything is reduced to the essentials for the operation of this hotel which is rather a very average cottage You are not entitled to any service other than a breakfast served in a very austere style allowing no special favors such as a cappuccino except that of a paid machine! Soap and shampoos are hardly added despite a stay of several days and the towels are of another age! In short the owner of this establishment runs his establishment economically without worrying that customers are waiting for a hotel service with services at the high price demanded for the correct clouds

The hotel building is a converted single-family house. The double rooms are reasonably large and the furnishings are neat and made of bright wood. The mattresses were quite good for me. The bathroom has a window. The compartment is useful. The shower cabin is too small but very clean. The breakfast room and reception are in the basement. The reception is only occupied in the morning. Please make sure that after arrival the guest tickets are handed out. Otherwise you will not get to the beach. The breakfast buffet offer is a few minutes away and we have not missed anything. The hotel employee is therefore not free to eat and eat. The hotel is located in a disturbing sack and the price is 10 feet in the city. The transportation is in the same proportion as in Sylvania.

A boarding house rather than a hotel

Nice little hotel. We were very friendlyly welcomed. Everything in the hotel was very neat and clean. Our room was very clean, just like the bathroom. There was nothing to put on for breakfast. All in all, we were very satisfied.

I'm glad to be back

If you are looking for a budget stay in Westerand on the Is of Sylk we found Hotel Amselhof ideal for what we wanted.  A bright, clean friendly hotel, in the German style of hotels.  A 10 minute walk to the railway station and main shopping/restaurant area of Westerland the hotel is set amongst other boutique style hotels and German style residential dwellings.  A lovely location.

Wonderful Stay in Westerlund on Sylk.

I was on Sylt Island in January, but only now did I have time to review this lovely, tiny, very clean and very well-kept hotel. The rooms are not many but they are spacious and tastefully furnished. It has a comfortable parking lot and is located in a very quiet residential area. In ten minutes you can walk to the village's main street full of shops and characteristic restaurants and the North Sea beach.
