When I booked here I thought I would be in the hotel. When I arrived I was directed to the bright orange guest house across the road. This tired and Dated building looks like it was last touched in the 1970s. The room was bare and isolated. It appeared others were staying in the hotel...
It was relatively expensive too,  and breakfast was an additional 8€, which was the bargain of the stay!!

Tired and Dated 

It's great to have the beer garden and the beer. Food is too expensive for what you get. The price of food is the price of good and evil. 8.90€ for a sausage salad from the packaging is too expensive. If you had expected at least a fresh product for the price. Even in times of Corona, you miss mouth protection and disinfection of the tables. Whoever has low requirements in terms of hygiene, cleanliness and quality of food is well off the table. We were there the last time! 40€ for 2x Vespers and 4 drinks, which is a lot of money, especially when you get ready-made products.

Price performance is poor

The farmer knows where his food comes from, knows the butchers and his other suppliers personally from the region.

Curious and good food

I've never seen this in Central Europe in the last 40 years (except for the GDR before the turn): the host signals that the guest doesn't actually belong here. First of all, the host couldn't find our name in his computer expression and was already angry (at us???). When we helped him search, only the short answer came Isn't it any different. However, we felt more annoyed when he let us close the suitcase upstairs, even if no one was willing to help. The room itself: clean. The setting: improvised, the local aesthetic suits. The view of the windows?

Where the guest is still the natural enemy of the host

He was nice to us, the host. He's an old-fashioned person with his own quirks. But he's got the store under control and that counts. The guest house room was clean, simple and cheap enough. Fortunately on that hot night on this big balcony. I slept surprisingly well - that's rare! Unfortunately, the host missed the connection: Zero W-Lan in the whole area except next to the reception. That already annoyed us.

The charm

I don't want to recommend anyone to be a guest there voluntarily, because if you want something that doesn't suit the guest, you can't do anything other than verbally attack your guest unfairly and aggressively. I just wanted - as ordered - a room with WiFi. Which I need professionally. And I don't want to sit in the restaurant (only because there was WiFi).

 Poor 

We spent two nights here on the bike. These were locked up at night. The price-performance ratio is fine. The breakfast is extra expensive and very sparse. The mattresses are very soft and the Wi-Fi doesn't work, unfortunately. The room is clean, but the location (on the side of the road) makes a little noise. The TV works and the bathroom gets hot water quickly. Unfortunately, the beer garden is always empty, so we had to eat somewhere else. All right.

Cheap hotel on the Tauberradweg

The rooms that were assigned to us were on the last floors, recently renovated, so very clean and bright, window presence even in the bathroom, seeing the materials in the hallway I think they are renovating more.

Easy and easy.

On our bike tour we spent two nights in the Crown. The inn is idyllically located by the dove with beautiful meadows and beer gardens. Rooms and bathrooms have come a little old, but the view from the balcony to the river is compensated again. The breakfast is rich and good. There is complete bicycle space. The owner's family was friendly and gave good tips on bicycle planning. Price-performance ratio is right.

Optimal for short holidays

Unfortunately, we were only here for one night. But you can really stay here well. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and a great breakfast. The staff were also very friendly. We arrived very late, but it was special for us to have someone longer.
