I had low expectation based on the other reviews. However I have to say that I was positively surprised. 
The hotel is 10 minutes away from the ski area, which is not bad at all.
Staff was incredibly helpful 
There was very soft music in the hall and the room were very quiet
Rooms were nice, quite big
Breakfast and dinner are nice, not a huge choice but good quality
Wifi was working fine in all areas of the hotel including the rooms.
Did not try the swimming pool

I will come back the foggy time did not allow me to enjoy the view

Pleasently surprised

The hotel is very rustic in terms of living and communal space. It feels like the 1970s. The rooms are partly inhabited. The choice of drinks is acceptable. The program for weekend visits is good, but there are no opportunities to close time gaps. The food is acceptable, everything in a lot of ready-made food, for example, the salads and sauces on offer. The staff is very mixed from very friendly to soft. Soon the clubhouse opens in a new location in a new house and it is desirable that many things are improved. There are much better locations, which cost almost the same, so I would highly recommend reducing drinks.

Club hotel with defects

We went on a business trip to this hotel. There were about 15 people in total. Everything worked great - from departure to arrival at home. Everything included. Very good food and lastingly delicious drinks. The entire staff is very hospitable.

Ideal for group travel

In advance, since you can only enter satisfactory or very good in the evaluation, I must also clarify that it is only good. We have travelled ourselves in a STOAG bus and were received kindly. So I can't say anything about the performance of the homecoming. There was plenty to eat and this was still very good. Make meals were a little salty, but maybe I'm also a little more salty. Food started at breakfast - lunch - coffee cake - dinner. Whoever stayed here was hungry, made a mistake. It was just a shame, like the french fries were bigger dry - the french fries were made out of a super art piece. But the french fries were not drenched or hanging around. The grass was also a little salty. The service also had a little salty. Ideal group hotel with friendly staff.

After arrival friendly reception and after it stopped on...13h checked in 19h to another hotel it moved dirty down came mold and dirt no matter where you look no privacy since the operator was constantly interfering in our conversations until we could get a room it took three hours since we refused to move into a room where the window from top to bottom with flies was dead flies lay all over the window seat and the floor curtain was full of the little animals.. and the operator was also still insulting every repairman of his guests will never want to offer anything good this hotel

Unreasonable for everyone

Rooms: built-in However, the mattresses were good. Bathroom: tiny and not clean extra costs: you make money from everything, e.g. Asbach-Uralte bathing suits for 10 € a day are just a freak. As a so-called wellness hotel, the pool area was underground - cold water, only 5 beds....

Basic Hotel, the rooms are very basic, no atmosphere as if you're staying in an Sterile Hospital.
The rooms were clean , beds were good.

Carparking cost € 8,- per day (????    in the middle of now where...., even in the center of Winterberg is parking cheaper)
Breakfast good , ( € 15,- pp )

Basic Hotel

The hotel is located about 10 km outside Winterberg. Very large complex, 5 rooms were occupied (Do on Fr, Winterberg was booked out!) Former health resort. On the day of purchase our ready-made key (2.E) was changed again to the 3rd day (stay only 1 night was the statement. Rooms, corridors, elevators and moors are (at least on the 3rd floor). The cleanliness was fine. The heating in the room is almost not enough so you can wake up. (No Wins are booked out!) For example, the hotel has a large parking lot (for example, a parking lot with a maximum capacity of 5 to 6 PCs) and a parking lot with a maximum capacity of 10 to 10 PCs. Nevertheless, there is no parking space available at all.

Not recommended

We were positively surprised. New mattresses, no mould, very friendly managing director. The spa area was very clean and beautiful. The hotel was also well visited. Perhaps the hotel was renovated(?), if you read through the other reviews. The location is of course a little further away from Winterberg, but Winterberg is great to reach by bus. We had a few great days and will definitely return.

Reviews are not understandable.

We wanted to do something good on Christmas Day and relax. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy, so the promised and even booked activities (snowmobile ride) were not possible. There was no substitute. I wanted to go to the sauna, but it was unheated, the controller button was missing and so it was not possible to relax again. Because it was too cold, we turned up the heater, but it was smoking continuously. The kind lady at the reception said that the technology had been working on it for some time. The holiday evening was not done as promised.
