I went to the cross with a colleague in the summer of 2016 to eat at a rumpsteak, and there were four rockets served by the unfriendly service.

Unfriendly service and too small portions

The rooms are very easy to set up, because the room prices are also very affordable, but you can't expect anything else. The bathroom is 80's sanitary brown and would have to be renovated. The rooms are clean, but the wardrobes smell very nice. The breakfast was simple but in sufficient quantity.

All right for that price.

The hotel is beautiful and is located on the main street of Wolfach.The rooms are all distinctive, decorated with very good taste and very clean, the bathroom is the only thing that needs a refurbishment as it is quite old.The hotel's restaurant is top-notch, with plenty of dishes and typical cuisine of the Black Forest.The best of all, the staff, is very friendly and willing to help you with anything. 100% recommended!

Treatment is very familiar.

Traveling in a car is wonderful. Especially if you've got the steepest navigator installed on the old one. We've been lost. It's dark in those places fast enough and we've had a few unpleasant moments along the way. So, it's like, losing your way, hitting a ride, catching a hook, and other wild tourist's pleasures. I've got a free version of the off-line navigator that was not a complaint about before. But the old one is also a trafficker. We've been lost. It's about the role of chance.

Arrived in the evening and wanted to stay at another hotel in Wolfach where we stayed before but as it was offseason, it was closed.  Hotel Kreuz was open and the price was ok so we stayed here.  The room was a good size and clean, the beds were comfortable as well. The continental breakfast that came with the room was good.  Plenty of breads, meats, cheeses, coffee, and other things to eat and was very good.  The staff doesn't speak much English but we got by.  They were friendly and made us feel welcome.

Clean and comfortable

For Valentine's Day, we had chosen to go for a walk and discover Wolfach. This small hotel located right in the small village allowed us to relax for 3 days. We had the wedding room, with removable bathroom, foam and fruit basket on arrival. Positive points large room and large bathroom, cleanliness, soundproofing of the rooms, very friendly staff and very good food. Negative points: the welcome lady speaks only German but her husband is doing well in the corner, no elevator for two floors, not much decoration in the room. We were able to eat a service of 4 during the day. The good food, however, is very well presented. You do not wait between the dishes. The dessert review in the hotel was not very nice, and you do not have to sit in the hotel. The staff is always very friendly, and you do not have to sit in the hotel.

I'm pretty anonymous, with distracted staff and little attention to guests, rooms in the standard, with bathrooms that would need a refurbishment, disappointing breakfast, and the only good thing about it is the location on Wolfach Square.

Nice location but anonymous rooms

My husband and I had a very nice stay at the Hotel Kreuz.  The location was right on the main street and the free breakfast buffet was very good (standard meats, cheeses, fresh rolls, hard-boiled eggs, assortment of jams, coffee, etc).  The staff did not speak very much English but they were very friendly and we were able to get by. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is because everything was clean and fine but nothing seemed to be extraordinary.  Hotel has free wired internet, but we got good 3G signals.  Each room has a different theme.

Charming, clean hotel

Located in the middle of the small downtown area that has romantic cobblestone streets and traditional old-world German architecture.  Breakfast that came with the room was plentiful and included good coffee, poached eggs, coldcuts and bread.  Rooms somewhat dated but very clean and efficient with plenty of space.

Love the Location

I was very happy with this hotel. It's in the middle of the city, which was convenient for me. The staff were super nice. The food was regional and really tasty.
