Sitting in the beautifully landscaped garden under the umbrella, enjoying cool drinks and the really good food are the reasons why we come here all the time in the summer. The service is attentive and convenient. For us, an excursion destination that we look forward to again and again! Absolutely recommended!

A nice place to go

The sun was shining, the beer tasted good, the house was beautiful, the old structure preserved in the background, the water splashed. The family atmosphere in the restaurant and everything was just fine. We thank you for this beautiful experience and will surely come back.

Service nice and attentive - kitchen competent and leeeeeeeeckaaaa

We were here on our wedding day and had a pre-dinner, main course and dessert. The main course we both had was the Dry Aged Entrecote. The steak was so bad that you could chew out of the alleged 350g maximum 100g at all. The parts were so tough and so poorly matched that even the steak knife had trouble. This was also no accident, both steaks were equally bad and unedible. The pear crumble had no pears, so it was burned, dried and could not even last as a child's portion. We also pointed out the unedible steak and the bad interest, there was no solution. So we could check it out the complainant could not even go to the kitchen. The kitchen hides a pear, and the service cannot even make a 2€ handprint and the kitchen is not even a free service.

We came as a family and stayed in the suite and it was just magical. The room is so beautifully made, with a rustic style. Our beds were so comfortable and we also had a little living room. We really loved this place as well as the garden restaurant. It's not to easy to arrive here, as it's a small village in Brandenburg, but that makes it so special as well. It's really away from the hustle and bustle of Berlin which allows you to enjoy your stay even more. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful Hotel

We've been doing a multi-day bike tour of neighborhoods here. This was the best neighborhood (and the others were great too)! Everything just fits here: the ambience, the beautiful old house, greatly renovated, the tasteful furnishings, the sounding outdoors. And a very delicious meal at the restaurant (and not just the usual dishes...) with attentive and friendly service. For us, we're sure to be back!

It's just wonderful!

It's far away, but well worth a visit. Nice atmosphere, very good, friendly service. We had a quick snack along the way, a solianca and an antipastic salad. Both of them, at a fair price, high quality and optically innovative. Especially noteworthy: the tea preparation in the most professional way. Recommended the house!

A Visit Worthwhile

Finely restructured old mill. Excellent food and lovely atmosphere.. German dishes with a twist: had a delicious lachs, sweet potatos and orange soup and revisted schnitzel. Service kind and attentive. Just one word:  bravo!...

Excellent

The Tornow Mill is a complete work of art. The ambience, architecture, nature and gastronomy are perfectly matched here. The tranquility, the seclusion are simply wonderful. Whoever wants to live here should be satisfied with very simple but tastefully decorated rooms (our TV didn't want to move, but that didn't bother us). Wirngen didn't thoroughly read the use instructions for the room and we were surprised that our room wasn't cleaned up: quite simply, you have to hang the appropriate sign on the door. Nevertheless, we liked it very well. The garden at the exit is worn out, the people are very free to move, but this didn't bother us. When we were in the kitchen, we couldn't tell anyone that they had a very high quality product, even a small glass of mustard.

Idyll in the Uckermark

This was the surprise of the year 2016 for me. All expectations were exceeded, especially culinary! (must be booked a table on arrival for the evening, is the place to go, because it's in the corner.) the hiking opportunities we could not afford in the weather, but we are around the lake, which is always a good walk. The rooms are small and practical, the suite is oversized on average! if you want to spend a weekend there in 2017, make it fast, the mill is hard to find.

It's quiet after Christmas Trouble.

We had decided to have a quick dinner at the Tornow Mill, and we were also given a place in a very rustically furnished next door guest room. The food came quickly and tasted great: it was fried salmon with salad and pastry. The service was friendly and respectful.
