Service at all levels. We were promised a room by phone; we should send this in writing again as a request by mail so that it can be confirmed: instead of confirmation, a cancellation came the next day. In a phone call like this, we could get off the phone, blame us and it was simply posted with the words You'll never get a room with us (as well as if cancelled?) -> bottom drawer! We would never want to stay here.

Cancellation of a reserved room contrary to the undertaking

Our room in the council chamber was very small, you just came around the bed. The furniture had seen better times. The bed was very uncomfortable. The cleanliness was very positive. Since our room was above the kitchen, we were allowed to tolerate the smell of garlic and fried fat. The breakfast was okay, but the service was underground. You were only allowed to go to the buffet once. We were told that this was about Corona and you had to call if you wanted to do something. Unfortunately, this didn't go so well.

Unfriendly service, small room

During our summer bike tour, the Council Chambers were on the program for one night. The reception was already quite cold, the room was clean but quite spartan, unfortunately with very slender mattresses. Our negative assessment is based on the really unfriendly service during breakfast. With great enthusiasm, tables are cleared, you feel like a mass reception in old-fashioned youth hostels. I don't like to fill my plate at the buffet, but here I was forced for myself and my partner right at the beginning to pile the desired food on a plate after I was harshly reprimanded.

Customer-friendliness is different

We were on a cycle trip, and stopped here for one night.  Hotel is very convenient, in the pedestrianized main street, which is very pretty.  Parking is only one street away and is very safe, with pedestrian access through an archway.  The room was on the third floor, so don't take a lot of luggage.  Everywhere was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water.  Wifi wasn't brilliant in the room, but we managed.  We ate in the restaurant in the evening, and the food was excellent and very good value.  Breakfast was buffet style, with plenty of choice.

For a bicycle tour over two days we booked a room that was ok. Just waking up that early on knocking of cleaning personnel and having coffee THAT early surprised. However when recognizing this in advance would help. Good place to stay overnight.

Pleasant stay

We always like to go back to the Quo Vadis restaurant in Zell, located right next to the Black Cat Fountain. The food is very tasty and varied. To highlight the very casual service.

The most delicious noodles I've ever eaten. I ate the noodles with mushrooms and shrimp and went back and forth. The pizza was also very, very delicious. We were so excited that we took the same thing home again.:-) We'll definitely be back.

♪ Sweet, sweet, sweet ♪

Yesterday we rested at the hotel restaurant at noon in the pedestrian zone. The menu included a number of Italian dishes. We decided on a daytime snack with stone mushrooms and shrimps and a pizza salad. Both were very tasty and the portions were large enough. The service was friendly and smooth on the way.

Italian cuisine

We spent the night in this hotel on a bike tour. The rooms were on the fourth floor. They were very small but clean. On the negative side, however, we would like to note the fact that we (all over 60 years old) had to drag our heavy suitcases up and down the 79 steps. The bikes had to be pulled down by us into a vaulted boiler. There was no way to push the wheels down and up again, we had to carry them.

Small hotel, central location

Cell at the Moselle is a beautiful place: normal vineyards, wine on stone slopes - flower plantations in the village and on the shore - splendid. The Ratskeller is centrally located. Unfortunately, the staff does not seem to be tuned in to guests. We just cheered and recorded everything with humor, for example, when we showed up at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday at the breakfast room and asked for two baskets of cereal, they were brought to us, but the murmur you don't eat breakfast among us for that long! was not the only fake passport.
