Quiet location, nice hotel, lovingly decorated, great spa area, water temperature in the hall bathroom good (which is not self-evident with current energy costs) Breakfast was great, various sausages, various cheeses and fresh cheeses, cooked eggs, marmalades, cereals etc., fresh juices, fruit, here everyone finds something. Parking places at home and when this time is occupied you should park on the street, 5 meters has not yet hurt anyone.;-)

Nice hotel in a quiet location

A hotel to feel good about! The hosts are friendly and highly motivated every day at the start. The rooms and the whole house are friendly, modernly furnished. Everything is neat and very clean. Breakfast is for everyone and the offer changes. Dinner for the half board was worth every penny! The three-course menu is a good template. And, I want to emphasize, it has always exceeded expectations. Too bad there is a rest day. In the afternoon the hotel still offers the coffee table. Even made cake and a coffee, simple class. The service is casual, but comforting but never on the fringes. The place is quiet, yet it reaches about 10 minutes to the center. And yes, we will definitely come back to this house with a clear recommendation.

Super hotel, super service and first class cuisine!

Although we had only a short stay in Zwiesel, we would return immediately. The offer of swimming pool and various saunas, a relaxation area and a great breakfast, despite Corona measures, leaves nothing to be desired. It is a friendly environment and very great. Especially since the Glash Hotel pays homage to its name. In the City of Glass. I must have been amazed by some reviews regarding too much glass. But overall it was wonderful and we are happy to come back.

That's great!

The glass hotel is located in a quiet environment on the slope. The descriptions and pictures on the Internet correspond to reality. When checking in, the boss and daughter received the room friendly. The room was in TOP condition, the balcony with 2 upholstered chairs was very useful. We found the room and the sauna area with quiet roads particularly good. The breakfast start (we received enterprising guests right late at 8 a.m.) and the fruit offer at breakfast. The chef is very knowledgeable in the area and gives good ideas for our door activities.

This is a very nice family hotel - meaning it's run by a nice family, very friendly and helpful, but not best for families, the clientele is typically of a more advanced age looking for a relaxing, quiet place, for which this is definitely a good spot, but probably not the best place to turn up with lively children. Everything is well looked after, with beautiful decoration, it also has a little swimming pool, spa and gym (with defined usage hours, to keep the noise level down in resting hours - see above). Food is also good, and it's in walking distance to the centre of this pretty little town. From there you can get free shuttle busses (included in the tourist tax) to the Bavarian Forest National Park (the oldest one in Germany). My room was of moderate size, but nice and clean and perfectly fine unless you want to spend extended hours in your room.

Friendly family hotel

The hotel is beautifully decorated - cozy and modern at the same time, and is only a 10-minute walk from the centre of Zwiesel. The Wittke family are very friendly and friendly hosts. The breakfast is fresh, varied and sufficient. Unfortunately we could not taste the dinner, because in the week we were there, no one had booked a half board. The rooms and the whole hotel are lightning-clean and the wellness area is clean, and we felt comfortable and well taken care of. We can definitely recommend the hotel and will definitely come back again!

Beautiful hotel with top service

With a view over Zwiesel at the top of the mountain, you will find the friendly little private hotel. Everything decorated with plenty of glass and top clean. The rooms are large, at least the ones with the south balcony that I have seen, the rooms with terrace in the basement are beautiful, however, they can only be reached on foot, the elevator is only to be used with luggage... Why? Good breakfast but without cappuccino, the existing machine is not turned on in the morning,... why? The kitchen of the house is excellent! Eat in the house, it's worth it!

Very good hotel with great cuisine

Old regular guests who are enthusiastic about everything are warmly received. The house is over and over decorated with glass. Sometimes less would be more... Our room was nice, clean and well taken care of, the mattresses were too soft for us, the bathroom was tiny and although the ventilation was running uninterrupted, there was an unpleasant muffled smell there. There is no WiFi on the rooms but only next to the reception. Breakfast is fine, but if you want more than one cereal sandwich per table, you have to get up early. You can't have the drinks written on the dining room, but you have to pay cash out every night. But the recipe of eating is very fine, but it's brought in old fashion. A new recipe is a good idea, but it'll be a good idea for the next evening in the Bay Area, but a new hotel, a good idea for the next evening's delicious dining.

We're not coming back.

Some reviews here and at HolidayCheck are absolutely incomprehensible. We were very friendly to the owners. The whole house is very tasty in the sense of the hotel's name, decorated with glass. Not only inside, but also outside. The equipment is very good. The layers on the beds, free mountain water & various teas in the wellness area. We had a junior suite in the 1st OG. The kitchen is excellent. Not only in the evenings, the breakfast buffet was very well stocked. Professionally, I'm very much on the go. Perfect, soft cooked eggs are rarely found. They were perfect on the spot every half day and not soft and no raw or green! The evening is here.
