We had very pleasant and comfortable stay in one of the chalets.  The grounds of the hotel were simply beautiful and well-manicured.  Staff was professional and very responsive to our needs.  Sara, the manager, was a joy to meet and her wonderful personality and attentiveness to ensuring our stay was a great experience was much appreciated.  We plan to come back on our next visit to Kamasi.

Immersed in luxury, my stay at the hotel was nothing short of enchanting. From the elegantly appointed rooms to the impeccable service, every detail was a testament to hospitality at its finest. The staff's warmth and attention transformed my visit into a memorable experience.  this hotel is a true gem. Sarah (head of operations) made my stay the best ever and I would definitely love to visit again.. I recommend it 100% and more. 

My luxury room 

I am happy with this hotel which i stay first time. People are so helpful especially Miss Melanie she helped me to stay in this hotel eith her great effort. Also Miss Lydia, Mr Appiah, Miss Ruth, Mr Richard as technical person and the security.. all of them very helpful and wonderful. The location of the hotel is the best, you dont enter to traffic jam. Very near to airport and kumasi mall.. ı personally recommend everybody to stay in this hotel.

My happiness in oak plaza suits

What was so lovely about this hotel was the staff's warm welcome on arrival and great hospitality and friendliness from staff throughout my stay. The rooms are very comfortable and cleanliness is the forefront of this hotel, with staff attentive to the current health and cleanliness focus.

The location is very secure, quiet and I felt safe during my stay providing a relaxing retreat.  This is a true sample of excellent hospitality and the best hotel in Kumasi by far.

Stayed at Oak Plaza Suites recently when I went to swear in Ashanti Regional Executives of Ghana Hotels Association. The serenity of the hotel, the exquisite interior decor and professional touch of the staff will stay with me a long while

Memorable Stay

I recently stayed at the Oak Plaza Suites and it was an exceptional stay.  I had a group from the States and we were booked at another hotel in Kumasi; however, upon arrival to the other property, we knew that we could not stay there.  I called Oak Plaza and spoke with Mrs. Kenia, the hotel manager and she stated that they had availability.  My group arrived to Oak Plaza Suites and was instantly pleased with the property.  Each suite is spacious and beautifully decorated; in addition, they had high end finishes and each person felt like they were in the comfort of their own homes.  Mrs. Kenia and the evening staff were very professional and were did everything to make my group of eight feel welcomed and comfortable.  There were a couple of snafus (late breakfast and a pipe burst that caused flooding), but the professionalism of Mrs. Kenia was exceptional and she was able to handle this minor issue.  I have stayed in multiple hotels in Kumasi and NONE of them can EVER compare to Oak Plaza Suites.  I look forward to returning to this location in the near future, and I highly RECOMMEND that if you are visiting Kumasi, you should stay at the Oak Plaza Suites.

Excellent Stay in Kumasi

After searching for a hotel in Kumasi without much luck we found out about the Oaks Plaza Suites in Kumasi. We booked directly with the hotel by phone and stayed in the Presidential Suite which sleeps 4 adults comfortably.
The location of the hotel is great as it is right next to the Kumasi Mall. A must for any westerners staying in Kumasi. The web pictures show a grey/white exterior, but the hotel has been repainted. So don't let this confuse you as it did to us. 
The hotel is secure with a guard at the gate and a 24 hour manned entrance. You take the lift to the fifth floor for the apartments.
The staff were very helpful - with Albert and Mark ensuring that our stay was comfortable. The housekeeping staff were wonderful and could not do enough to make our stay comfortable.
The rooms are well appointed and very, very clean. As a self-contained apartment it rivals any apartment that I have stayed in and seen through my many years of travelling around the world. All facilities are available including a fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is a kettle and a beverage supply station with instant coffee, milo and a range of teas. But if you are a coffee drinker there is no coffee machine.
The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained.
Unfortunately, the view from the room is not that great, but after all you are in Kumasi and it is a a busy city in Ghana.
Breakfast was included with the apartment for 2 people. The breakfast was very generous - juice, tea and milk, fruit, bread, pastries, yogurt, beans, eggs, sausages and potatoes. Way too much for us to finish. The added bonus of breakfast is that it is delivered at your chosen time directly to your room.
We travel frequently to Kumasi and will definitely stay at the Oaks Plaza Suites again. It's great for families, larger groups and for those of you who have had enough of staying in a hotel. Last of all, for those of you with kids there is a pool to keep everyone busy and entertained.
