Never stay at this hotel . My worst experience ever ,even worse than a hostel.  And never give them money at the check in as when you want tonleave the room will never give them back to you. Dirty and smelly

Never stay here ! 

Very close to the ferry port of Aegina. Lovely staff who were helpful with directions. Breakfast was collected as much as you like and then taken to your balcony to eat while watching the busyness of the town. 
We hired scooters from downstairs and toured the island visiting many quiet bays and great views. 
They stored our luggage until we left on our last day. A small but comfortable room, beds hard but clean.

Aegina port comfortable stay

After a walk in the most hotels in Aigina town-port, the most clear and beautifull was Hotel Togias. Is right on the port, all the restaurants are next to the hotel. The staff was very helpfull and the room quiet and clean.

The best expirience in town

We spent 6 nights at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. The welcome we got from Eleni on arrival was heart warming. This continued throughout our stay. She brightened every morning with her smile and was always willing to help. Our room was compact but the view and location magnificent. Breakfast was served on the first floor and taken to your room. What a joy to eat on the balcony looking out at the blue sea! The rooms were very well serviced with no shortage of clean towels and sheets. Marina, the owner was always around to help or offer a very cheerful greeting. With limited English she still managed to greet us warmly every time we met and made a point of wishing us well on departure. We found an excellent taverna. Kavournina, nearby. On leaving the hotel go right , towards the beach instead of left into town. It faces the sea and serves excellent Greek food. Andreas and his son are very proud if what they do and it shows. Go in time to enjoy the wonderful sunset as you enjoy your meal. Hotel Togias is located a short walk from the ferry, beside the bus station , and a few minutes walk to the beautiful town of Aegina. We would happily return.

What a welcome!

I’ve been visiting Aegina for many years, but this time I happened to choose the worst hotel ever.
1. The wifi connection didn’t really exist
2. The bathroom had no shower curtain so the water was everywhere after my shower
3. The hotel manager disn’t want me to pay by credit card, only cash
4. They told us that 4 persons could comfortably stay in this room, but in real it was maximum for two!
5. There was no place to have breakfast
6. The aircondition needs to be cleaned
7. In general it was too noisy

I would not recommend this to anyone.

The worst hotel experience in Aegina

Went to aegina on a whim, to find that most hotels near the port were closed at the end of September. This owner was actually outside inviting us in, from the ferry port turn left. Ok it was not marvellous, but it was clean, dry, comfortable, ensuite and a balcony with sea view, table and chairs, fridge, tv and air conditioning...all for €35 per night for a double. We were only staying one night,so it was great, walked to the supermarket and bought wine, water, nuts and ice and spent a good few hours watching the boats and scenic views and enjoying the wine and sun! Would go again, might not be everybody's colour scheme inside, but it was perfectly adequate ! Better this than be ripped off in a fancy hotel that changes a bomb! He also rents out bicycles, scooters, jeeps etc.
