We were here for 10 nights as the first guests after the travel restrictions from 16.06.2020. Absolutely nice little family run hotel. Very nice and friendly and hospitable family operator. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely come back.

First holiday after travel restrictions

The thing to understand about this place is that they have essentially two separate accommodations - the ‘suites’ and the ‘apartments’.  This is not apparent and misleading.  

The ‘suites’ are new stylish units that are advertised in most of the photos you see.  These are no more than a couple of years old or less.  They have a nice garden and are right beside the beach.  They no doubt look great and appear to be a good value.  

The ‘apartments’ are probably ~40 years older and very rustic/outdated.  They are set further back from the beach and you can see the ocean a little, but the view is mainly of the back of a restaurant.  There are few photos of these and they are not significantly cheaper (~10-20€). Since you typically do not have to investigate if a hotel has 1 really old version and 1 new version of their rooms you assume the less expensive rooms will be relative to the photos all over the website.  This should really be two different hotels.

The staff was friendly enough and the the location was nice, but the room was not what was expected for the reasons above.  Book the ‘suites’, avoid the ‘apartments’.

A new and cozy structure located directly on the sea 50 meters from the beautiful beach of Plaka. Courtesy and availability of the responsible Mrs. Betty. Excellent and abundant its breakfasts with a variety of genuine and homemade products. Cleanliness of the rooms and the really excellent structure. Beach of fine sand several kilometers long, with a clean and crystal clear sea, equipped with umbrellas and beds. Taverns for dining directly on the beach.

Lovely Plaka Beach and lovely Betty.

Beautiful, very new structure and carefully maintained in the smallest detail. Located on the central stretch of Plaka very quiet but close to restaurants, markets and ATM ATMs. Very convenient also to reach the wonderful beaches of Agios Prokopios in the north, Mikri Vigla, Aliko, etc. in the south and the villages of the hinterland.

Relax two steps from the beach.

We stayed here for a relaxing couple of days on our island hopping holiday but got so much more. Things didn’t start off well, as the ferry was late getting in and our prebooked taxi had left with another fare. When he returned about 15 minutes later, after I’d wandered around looking for him and phoning the Hotel, we had to share the taxi to our resort. Understandably not the Hotels fault. The Hotel is set back about 50m from the road and the Glaronissi Restaurant (No affiliation to the Hotel) and surrounded by fields. It’s in a very convenient location, close to the beautiful beach at the front, and within walking distance from excellent cocktail bars & restaurants. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Betty as if we were family come to visit. Check-in was quick and painless and we were shown to our room which was the Superior Apartment with Sea View. The hotel has 2 buildings, a new, more expensive one and an older, more rustic one. We stayed in the older building, the room was basic but spacious, clean and tastefully decorated and had an old style authentic charm. Facilities included a kettle, extending clothes airer, good storage space, plenty of utensils & a modern, clean bathroom but no safe. Our wardrobe was lockable so we improvised by using this to lock away our valuables. The room opened onto the balcony with a beautiful view of the surrounding fields with Betty’s beautiful horses and the sea beyond. It had a table and chairs that we used in the evening when we returned. The free WIFI was basic speed as most places we’d visited. Breakfast was good with local Naxian Yoghurt, fresh fruit, honey, eggs, & much more.
We came here to chill and that’s what we got. Betty, her family & the wonderful staff made us feel very welcome. We arrived as guests but left as friends. We would definitely return.

Warm welcome

The apartments are located in the back of the building. The newer suites are right in front of the beach. The apartments are very clean and large enough. The bathroom is rather small. The room has enough room to store the luggage. The owner is very friendly and hospitable. She also offers additional service such as laundry service, ticketing or car delivery. The breakfast is always lovingly prepared and is very tasty. The location is great, right on the beach, close to the beautiful Maragas beach. We felt very comfortable.

Nice accommodation, personal service

Located in Plaka on the island of Naxos this hotel is super pleasant because rooms with sea view with small garden tres flowery front. Tres coquet decoration refined for an acceptable price in August 140Eur Small breakfast simple but good in the garden super well located with lots of small taverns with Greek cuisine home like at Voula.

The most beautiful hotel in Plaka

One should be careful when booking a room in this hotel. OTAs mostly show nicely decorated rooms in a Cycladic style. The hotel has 2 buildings, a new one and an older one. We stayed in the older building. The room was dated and certainly did not have the modern Cycladic charm we were expecting. No shower gel nor shampoo in the bathroom. 
We booked a sea view room and that was a joke as well (see pictures) You really have to twist your neck to see a bit of sea in the far distance. 
Sun beds are charged 10€ a day and the hotel does not provide transfer to the airport. They will book a taxi for you (17€). 
I don’t think I will stay there again.

Not as nice as expected

Beautiful views of the Plaka sea, availability to rent a car and book a boat tour directly at the reception, the owner and staff are very kind and always available, the recently built, clean and pleasantly furnished Cicladi-style room.

Package of Greek islands

Excellent location both for the beach and for the distance from the city, extremely neat and attentive service, the room furnished with taste and originality, state-of-the-art shower, a real relaxation to wash and cool off, very quiet air conditioner, detail not to be underestimated, we will definitely be back.
