We stayed here a week with my family (5 children from 5 to 13) and spent a very good time. The apartments are very nice and cozy, we got delicious breakfast with eggs and cheese from their own farm. The best beach of Naxos is walking distance, the kids could go there on their own. The host lady was very kind and caring.

Beautiful place with lovely hosts

The owners Voula and Andreas are very friendly. They also offered us fresh eggs from their own chicken cottage, fresh tomatoes and water melons:)) 

Beautiful location next to the sea!!!!

My husband and I stayed at Villa Porto Rondo last year and we got engaged in Naxos. We decided to return this summer for our wedding and stayed at Porto Rondo again with our wedding party. The hotel is great! It is clean, convenient, and Voula and her family are extremely helpful and responsive. I would recommend Porto Rondo to anyone travelling to Naxos. It has a beautiful view of Prokopios beach and is a short walk to the Prokopios village. Thanks Voula!

Excellent hotel in Naxos!

Villa Porto Rondo is superb value for money with all rooms looking out to Agious Prokopious Beach and the beautiful Aegean Sea. It is a family run set of studios and apartment where the owners Voula and Andreaous worked tirelessly to make our stay so wonderful. Voula speaks very good English and is really proud of her accommodation which she keeps spotlessly clean. My wife and I have been so impressed with everything that I started writing this positive review whilst were still there.

The property is set in its own, very spacious grounds so you don’t feel crowded in or overlooked by any other properties. As soon as we arrived we began to have a good feeling about Villa Porto Rondo. Voula welcomed us really well, made us feel right at home and showed us our room. Our room had a fantastic, unobstructed view out to sea with a good sized balcony and windows looking seawards too. The view is beautiful and we could even look out at the Aegean sea whilst we were still in bed. The inside is comfortable, practical and a good size. There is air-conditioning, a double bed and a single bed with bedside tables and drawers, a wardrobe, a dressing table with well lit mirror as well as a couple of indoor chairs. The balcony has outdoor chairs and a sturdy table where we can eat our breakfast that we make. The rooms are serviced daily, towels were changed every two days and sheets were changed on every third day. Our bathroom was also bigger than the average in Greece with a well lit mirror over the sink and a decent sized shower cubicle with a proper shower curtain. 

Guests cater for themselves and so there is a two ring cooker with good quality pans including a decent non stick frying pan. We stayed there for three weeks and cooked a big breakfast a couple of times so we know everything works well for catering, including the extractor fan above the cooking space. 

The location is perfect for us. The Agious Prokopious beach is literally just a few minutes easy walk away. Other beaches like Agia Anna and Plaka are about a five minute drive away and the ride into Naxos town takes around ten minutes. My suggestion is to hire some transport whilst staying at Villa Porto Rondo because there is so much to see and do on Naxos but you can do without if you are keen walkers. Walking to the nearest bus stop takes just ten to fifteen minutes. Buses run frequently to the town as well as other beaches and of course, they all have low fares.

We love the location being right by the seaside and yet it is a semi rural one because you can see cows and sheep in the distant fields. Voula has her own free range chickens and these have their home on the other side of the pathway outside the courtyard at the back of the property. She did kindly give us some eggs to make an English breakfast in our room and very tasty they were too. There is a naturally formed small salt lake just before Agious Prokopious beach and this was once used for locals to harvest salt. 

To keep such excellent value for money the owners have not wasted their money on fancy fittings. All rooms are furnished simply but comfortably. The important point is that everything works. Hot water for the apartments is provided from a boiler so even if you had cloudy weather you still get hot water. The WiFi has recently been upgraded so is fast and we had a good signal. Voula and Andreaous have been busy continuing to make improvements and have built an excellent Cycladian courtyard where guests can sit and chat. It shows their determination to remain focused on their guests and make sure everyone has a really enjoyable stay. We have been so impressed with these studios that we’ve already booked to stay again. As another reviewer has already written, this really is a hidden gem! We thoroughly recommend Villa Porto Rondo where Voula and Andreaous will take great care of you!

Very nice location, quiet and yet so close to the beach. The manager, Mrs Voula, is a very friendly, kind and helpful lady. The rooms are large, (we had extra free bed), clean, with kitchen equipment and a balcony with a view of the sea.
