Because of the good reviews, we chose this studio to take a short trip to Chania. We had booked the accommodation for 2 days and were very disappointed and can't quite get these reviews. We had an apartment on the ground floor that immediately received a very unpleasant smell. It was definitely extremely smoky there. The light switches etc. Yellow bom smoke. The bathroom was clean up to the toilet. There was Urinstein and it had a correspondingly disgusting smell. The towel in the kitchen was full of small patches. The towel was covered so that a little strip of cloth was left and this towel also had a very strong smell.

Disappointing

Small apartment for 2 people, comfortable, well furnished Raki and oranges offered by our host. A very nice balcony where you can see the sea. Apartment cleaned and sheets/towels changed every 2 days. The host was very friendly, not hesitant to be at our service. Very friendly, we recommend +++

Very good stay.

We stayed for 6 nights at this property, an excellent base for visiting the northwest area of the island. We stayed in apartment number six, with balcony and kitchen. Every two days the apartment was cleaned and the sheets and towels changed. The owner is very nice and kind and you can immediately breathe a family atmosphere.

Like at home.

We stayed in this building at the end of July. Our room was large and clean but unfortunately the bathroom boiler had spiders and it was coming from the bathroom itself, it was a bad smell, in room 5 of our friends inside the bathroom, on the floor there was an open drain hole. Fortunately the next day they cleaned the rooms.

Vacation in Stalos

The apartments are comfortable (we rented 4). There are many services such as (hair dryer, air conditioning, bath linen, reiki and orange warmly offered by the owner....) The owners are lovely and speak very well English.

charming accommodation and friendly reception

A real pleasant surprise, the apartment of extraordinary cleanliness, comfort, tranquility, equipped with every comfort, cooking corner disappeared in the closet, Wi-Fi functioning and air conditioning equal. The sympathy and kindness of the owner, I believe her name is Litta, I had difficulty understanding and I was ashamed to ask her name, she was unmatched, she waited for us well beyond the check-in time requested on the site and welcomed us by offering us the raki!

From August 20 to 28, 2015, I had the great pleasure of staying at this delightful and quiet studio found by chance on the internet. In addition to cleaning the apartment every two days with extreme care, my wife and I were lucky enough to enjoy the unlimited availability and the great courtesy of the owner and the truly charming consort, always attentive to finding solutions to any sudden need, in reiterating our sincere thanks for the beautiful vacation we had, we hope to be able to return in the near future, perhaps for a longer period.

It's like home!

We spent two weeks in this delicious studio. Maximum cleanliness and availability from the managers. I change sheets and towels every three days. Air-conditioned hair dryer and mini-kitchen with dishes in the studio. What more could I ask for? The slightly off-street but equally comfortable beach area was very quiet. We really recommend it.

What a lovely vacation.

Being 5 to 10 mins walk downhill to town, the Armonia studios are ideally placed in a quiet area with free parking either at the studios, or 20 yards further up the hill.
I had the smallest room (No 4), but as I was solo, it was fit for purpose with its own small balcony (still being wired up, but nice).
The owners were very pleasant and helpful, and even the cats were friendly!
Shops and tavernas were close by, and the beach was lovely.
Due to the economic situation, very few places would accept credit cards - just hard cash, so take enough (there is a cashpoint machine on the main road).
Kato Stalos is a perfect base from which to explore the West of the island, which is peaceful and picturesque.
If you want 'party town', this is not the place for you - try Malia further East.........
Nice relaxing tavernas and bars here, but not too far from nightlife if you want it.
If you do not have a hire car, the buses are regular, though crowded, to get you to Xania/Chania which is definitely worth a visit - lovely marina - about 4 miles away.

Usual question to end my reviews: - would I stay here again? - yes, definitely, but I would probably ask for one of the bigger rooms upstairs.

Perfect for a chilled week.

Great place for the family. Excellent location. Clean and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. Close to the beach and the bus stop. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We had a great holiday. I recommend this place.
