We booked in for 2 days in 3 rooms when the temperature reached 44. We were sailing but our boat had no Aircon. We secured the boat in the harbour on lazy lines. 

Lovely little hotel. Owners spoke little English but their daughter did. 

It was €50 a night or €60 with breakfast per room for 2. 

Our room was up a small flight of steps. We had a balcony at the front with chairs and a table and a balcony at the back with a drying rack. 

The air con was brilliant. Bathroom basic with a low height shower screen. 

It was perfect for our needs and very good value for July. 

We had breakfast one day but not tbe second. Breakfast was very fresh orange juice, bread, a hard boiled egg and home made jam and marmalade. Plus tea and coffee (instant)

We didn’t eat in the taverna as we wanted to be by the sea but it looked nice. 

We were amazed to get 3 rooms at short notice. It was so perfect.

How nice can life be. We stranded late in the evening in de deserted harbor that was already in winter format. Hopelessly looking for some diner we ended up in Hotel Avra. The owners presented us the best fish ever, and spoiled us with complementary starters and desserts.
That combined with warm welcome, a short lesson in Greek dances made it a night we will never forget!

We had a meal here during a yachting holiday so I can’t describe the rooms. 
This family run hotel is slightly behind the front and probably suffers because of this. 
The hosts are very kind and so eager to please. The food was mostly excellent- the only problem for a party of 8 was a slightly undercooked burger. 
We had a wonderful evening 
Their other problem is that they don’t appear under restaurants on trip advisor and probably get ignored as a result. This delightful family deserve success. 


Worth a visit. 

Visited as part of a flotilla sailing holiday which stopped in Nea Epidauros. The owner is absolutely lovely (and also the harbour master too!). It was the quiet season, so we were able to use a shower on site which was wonderful. The room we used for this had a great view of the harbour. 

We came back later, and has an absolutely delicious meal (I think we tried most of the menu between the 5 of us). We saw the chef come out and pick the herbs from the plants growing on the terrace, so you know it's fresh! Would throughly recommend to anyone wanting a food/a room and a friendly welcome.

Go to the nice port, with full service ( electricity, watter and moorings ) 
You will enjoy the best from Greece. Call +30 275 303 1294 the name for owner is Stamatina.
She will help you to get moorings, join electricity, enable the watter and give you best recomendations. 
Visit 2500 year old theatre by taxi, which is managed by the AVRA. 
Enjoy the local made food, from family kitchen, vegetables and fruits from house garden. 
You will feel like home comming, friendly care, low prices and excellent atmosphere. 
You will get free shower in hotel ( depend on occupancy) for sailors, greece dancing lessons ( Syrtaki) for all and amazing attitude of the family. 
You will be handled by people which have the service in the blood, more than 50 year ´s in service. 


Awesome visit by the AVRA / New Epidavros port

We had a nice stay at this hotel.  It is located just across the street from the beach.  They family also runs a restaurant on site, which was very delicious.  They did little extras, like fresh oranges, to make the stay nice.  The room itself was fine.  My wife felt a little uncomfortable about the cleanliness of the linens, and I would agree.  Overall, an enjoyable time.  Only other challenge is that this is a cash establishment, with no credit card option.
