The landlady was really friendly and helpful. The hospitality is amazing here. In addition, the place is clean, peaceful. Each detail has been thought, the studios are cozy, the garden is designed so well that everytime you breathe you inhale the peace here.. There is a small but wonderful pool. We will choose the same hotel again and again

Hospitality and Peace

The landlady is extremely helpful.. she drives you around with no extra pay. Its always clean and she is the sweetest helpful woman..
But there is a catch on this countryside: If you plan going anywhere you need a taxi or a rental car. Taxi to nearest town with ATM (minibank) is Plomari. Google map says its 45 minute walk! On the hotel there is snack and drinks but no dinner so one really need hard cash and need to go to Plomari or Isidoro (30 min walk) to get a proper dinner. Taxi from Sea Sun to Plomari is fixed 8 Euro.

Plomari has small shops and one proper supermarket (small one). We tried to find somewhere to get a T-Shirt for our kid, but its nothing like we were used to from spain/Kos/Kreta.. This is more of a greek village without all the "tourist" things.

I will recomend this hotel to everyone that accully know how a non tourist site is.. To people that has rental car and dont expect a tourist magnet.
People are very friendly and helpful with the owner of Sun Sea as the best!

Greatest Resort!

We found this pearl of a place by Apollo (Norwegian) and have never been threaded with this amount of service.
Mother and daughter runs the hotel that is a small lot of apartments (11). A good mix of guests that are here to relax, and enjoy life and local Greek hospitality.
No traffic, located 100m from the sea (with small fishing harbor), a small path will leed you to a amazing beach, with pebble rocks.
Clear and clean water.

True Greek hospitality! 

Sea Sun Studios & Apartments has many villas and studios with a walking distance from Agios Idos beach. We are very happy to stay here with the entire family every year, the pool gets cleaned everyday, housekeeping is included and the owners and staff are all very very kind and helpful.

Bellissimo Vacanza 

We totally enjoyed our week's holiday with 2 teenage kids. The two room apartments are very spacious with 2 bathrooms and kitchen facilities. The pool is bigger than it appears in the photos and is excellent as are the very comfortable sunbeds around it. Be aware that Lesvos is a very big island and wherever you stay distances are long. This is a good location as the beach of Agios Isidoros which is one of the best on the island is in walking distance.

Lovely accommodation at great value!

Amazing place for a holiday with kids. 
 There is the possibility to rent private luxury villas with private pool. In a very quite compound, surrounded by olive trees, with birds eye sea view. Very relaxing . Villas are very nicely equipped and well furnished.  Villas are located at walking distance from the beautiful beach of Agios Isidoros.

Great Family holidays 

It was a big family holiday so we booked three seperate parts in the same apartment. Our apt was just in front of the pool which was great for the kids. Hotel is located at a walking distance to best beach in Lesvos. Altough the hotel was built in 1994, it gives the feeling that you are the very first guests. Everything is very clean, newly painted and brand new. Kitchen is well equipped in every seperate unit. Gardens, trees, illumination, peace everything is great. Owner Ms Chrissa is very kind and friendly. House keper Ellie is very kind and cleans daily. Beds are very comfy and terraces at every apt. has a beautiful view of Agean Sea. Our elderlies, kids and loved ever moment. I definately recommend the place and will prefer nowhere else but here for my next trip.

Fascinating experience

terrible experience.We arrived late in the evening only to find that we were given a room 10 min walking uphill from the actual hotel compound. The room was infested with mosquitos. When we realized that we cant stay (after 5 min) the owner disappeared and it was very difficult to get her, we waited half an hour for her to return. We asked to change rooms and she had no solution. We had to leave that same night and find another hotel. The land lady didn’t even consider to apologize or offer any refund.  Even though I canceled the second night she charged me the full amount for no show. 
Moreover, within 5 minutes of getting in the room we were bitten by mosquitoes. There was no possibility of spending the night there.

I made a reservation from booking.com. It was recommended by our friends. Therefore, we purchased a room for three nights without looking for another accommodation alternative. However, due to my daughter's sudden illness, we had to return from Ayvalık ferry pier. We reached booking.com.  The travel site stated that this issue was at the discretion of the facility. Since the facility's personal phone number and e-mail address were previously given by our friends, we had access to both corporate and personal contact information. But the management of the facility did not take this grievance into consideration and replied, "We will wait another time..." Be careful when making a reservation, your money may not be refunded!! We will share our negative opinions with everyone who consults us regarding the issue.
