The Hotel is very conveniently positioned by the Marina in the town centre. It is immaculately clean, and very quiet. The Managers are attentive and helpful. There are many small restaurants and cafeneons close by, together with banks, shops, and parking facilities.  The main parking is across the streets at the Marina, at only 3 euros per day. It is advisable to book towards the end of September due to the very high temperatures!!

Personal and Business Trip to Agios Nikolaos

Clean and a brilliant location minutes from the centre of Agios Nikolaos. 
Space is a little cramped. I wouldn't reccomend this place for a long stay but it was perfect for a few days.

Great Location

We stayed at this hotel on August 11, 2015. We wanted to explore the city and go to Spinalonga, so we picked a hotel in the center. It's a great location. There's a sandy beach nearby. Around the hotel is a grocery store. It's easy, no expense. There's a big plus-cook corner, you can cook it quickly, even though it's full of cafes and taverns. The air conditioner was working. Wi-fi in the room, the signal was good.

Excellent apartments in the center.

The owner met me on the street, as he saw, I don't even know, probably from his neighboring store. I was very pleased with the electric platter and having all the necessary dishes in the room, and in the shop downstairs (literally the next door) it was very cheap, and besides portion sugar, butter and so on, you can even buy eggs by hand.

We enjoyed a 5 night stay in the relax studios and unquestionably recommend this accommodation to anyone that is looking for something cheap and cheerful.

We were very late in arriving however our host was patiently waiting to give us our key and show us into the studio. We were lucky enough to have a seaview and we made full use of this by enjoying breakfast and dinner on the balcony for the duration of our trip. 

Cooking facilities were basic (the apartment could benefit from a microwave/oven) however with a bit of imagination, and the super close proximity of a decent supermarket, we were able to come up with budget friendly meals.

Unusually for a studio apartment, bed linen and towels were changed each day which was much appreciated in 30 degree temperatures. 

Aside from the cooking facilities, air con,wifi (though not always reliable), tv, outside parking and a lift all added to convenience and (miniature) home from home feel of these studio apartments.

The location was also superb; a mere two min stroll to a blue flag beach with free chair rental and just over the hill (or a short trip round the coast) to the main dining and nightlife of Ag Nik.

At only €195 for two people for five nights, Relax Apts and Studios are unbeatable value.

Superb value for money

I've now stayed at the Relax Studios twice, and both times was impressed by the studio apartments I stayed in. They're much better equipped and more spacious than many at a similar or a higher price bracket. There's a balcony with a lovely view over the marina and beach - a great place to sit and people-watch. The main road can be a little noisy, but I was able to ignore this and slept very well, with the French doors and shutters closed. The apartments are in a great location with the beach on your doorstep and all the bars and restaurants of the town within 5 mins walk. All excellent value, and Manos is a friendly and helpful host: I'd certainly return.

Comfortable, well-equipped apartment and friendly welcome

The establishment or rather the rooms are very difficult to find because there is no indication until the moment or by accident, you see an indication on top of a toy store. Give away keys. the studio and the equipment sound rudimentary but sufficient. There is little or no decoration or style. The location in the center is ideal for strolling in the evening and exploring the city. Finding a parking lot is not obvious!

A rudimentary but adequate room

A small room in the centre of Agios Nikolaos, on the harbour. The advantage of being 5 minutes from all shops with the disadvantages of a city centre. It is located at a busy junction by vehicles. The bars are very close to the music until at least midnight (October)...

Good for one night.

The building is located in the center of Agios Nikolaos, with some rooms overlooking the harbour (of which ours is one). 70 meters from a small beach itself on the portico. The rooms are very noisy since the early hours of the morning as being on a main road there are many commercial activities (load/discharge). We had to sleep with the air conditioning access (very uncomfortable not the latest generation air conditioner:). We stayed 5 days and the cleaning of the room was done only 2 days. The room is simple but moderately functional.
