I wanted to go for at least one day to an island, so I selected randomly. The hotel is very nice, very friendly staff. Good for seeing the sun rise. At morning you can have a nice breakfast to your bed. I will come back!

very very nice hotel

We passed 3 pleasant days in this very quiet hotel.
Although the hotel is near the harbour (about 400 Mt only) we were not disturbed by any rumour.
Our children had a room to the other side with a huge terrace.
The rooms were clean and we were really satisfied with the recommendations the receptionist gave us as well as for restaurants as well for the beaches.

Watching the sunrise

Nice clean rooms, comfortable beds, Gorgeous view of the sea from the room and from the terraces! The location is perfect; just a few minutes from the restaurants and beaches, and not too far from Chalkiada which was the highlight of the trip for sure. 

For us the walk up to the reception and rooms was no big deal, maybe 2-3 minutes, but the wall uphill should be taken into consideration for older guests or for anyone disabled. 

Marina is so sweet, so helpful and her restaurant suggestions are amazing! 

Only cons - very small bathroom. The shower head stand was broken so we had to hold it while showering. The AC is very loud, and the WiFi wasn’t consistently working. Couldn’t take towels with us out of the hotel. 

All in all, I would still choose it again! And again and again :)

Wonderful!

We stayed for about 1 week in Abatis hotel and we really loved it!! The location is very peacefull and the view from our terras was magnificent. The host Marina is also lovely! She is very welcoming and you'll feel right at home.
We would definitely return!

Great Quality price & lovely host!

Nice place to stay, but the rooms are small with tiny bathrooms. Some of them have the seaview and the others are facing to parking lot. 
The hotel is old but has been renovated.
Good location close to a few taverns and clubs with live greek music and good food.
The hotel staff is friendly and serviable.


Nice stay

The hotel wasn't that far away from the port and beach but it wasnt easily accesible since it was up on a hill. Especially when u are carrying bags it's not easy at all. It's not a 2 min walk but a 10 if not more. The hotel was nicely decorated kinda old but it was still nice. It had a nice view as well. unfortunately our room was facing the forest and we had lots of bugs in our room like centipedes and beetles. The room was kinda smelly especially the bathroom. The stuff was really friendly and kind. If you are waiting important calls or have to check your emails it's not the place for you; wifi is barely working and there's no signal for calls at all.

Wouldn't go again

Good effort but nothing really special. Difficult access. Basic amenities. Sufficiently clean but not immaculate. The cleaning staff is not very discreet (they once opened the door without knocking first). Good location. Not in the centre of Skala (away from the noise) but not far from it. Not quite value for money.

Average hotel

I was disappointed to find that the hotel was not 300m from the beach, as advertised, but up a long hill and then many steps up to the hotel and more steps up to the reception and even more steps up to the rooms.  Definitely not suitable for anyone over 70!
