The apartment was just the right size although there wasn't a sitting room. It is situated just a few minutes walk from a supermarket, tavernas and the beach which was ideal. Nice and private with a balcony.

Central location and close to beach

Just yards from a lovely beach and Kalami's restaurants, our one bed apartment had two small balconies, a good view of the sea and a comfortable bedroom. 
Cooking facilities were good, there was a seperate kitchen and a seperate bathroom.
Great value for money

Great apartment in a lovely location,

Spacious but basic apartment. Not very clean. Should be cleaned x6 a week, we had bins emptied and beds made once and we stayed 4 nights. Air conditioning included and kitchen quite well equipped. No washing up liquid. One loo roll, then provide your own. Close to beach, shops and bars. Quite small place a Kalami, quiet. 6 euros a day for 2 sunbeds and umbrella.  Pebbly beach, lovely sea but lots of boats yachts etc so not very safe to swim far out.

I stayed here with my husband and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The apartments are very accessible and within easy reach of the beach and local tavernas and shops. Everything you need is at your fingertips and the family who run the apartments are always on hand if you need something. We loved relaxing in the spacious garden! The bed and pillows were extremely comfy and the bathroom was spotless. Would recommend for couples and families.

Wonderful hospitality, excellent location

This is our third year staying in villa Rita Kalami. Love this place wouldn't stay anywhere else in Kalami. Margarita the owner always makes us welcome & nothing is too much trouble for her.  Looking forward to our holiday there in 2020 as we have already booked again for next year. Kelvin & Lynne Hyatt.

Overall the apartment was very comfortable with air conditioning and ceiling fans in the bedrooms as well as fly screens on the windows, all of which are essential.

The kitchen and bathroom had recently been renovated, but are still very Greek!  Kitchen equipment was fairly minimal though enough to make a cold lunch.  There is an excellent De Longhi washing machine in the kitchen, but no detergent was available.  If the owner values the high quality machine she should provide suitable detergent as most people won't buy a whole bottle from the supermarket for just a couple of washes.  The machine may be damaged if people use washing up liquid or hair shampoo in it!!!

The other major omission was toilet paper.  Paying this price for an apartment we did not expect to have to buy our own toilet paper!!!  As usual the toilet paper had to be put in a bin, but the bin was not emptied for 4 days.

There are a lot of stray cats around which is quite common in Greece.  However they slept on the cushions of the outdoor furniture, so we often found they were covered in hairs.  We either had to take the cushions in at night, or stand them on end.
