We were here in September 2015. Unfortunately there were a few rainy days. But the living room was perfect. Katerina's breakfast was delicious. It was prepared on a common terrace with a wooden oven and a table full of homemade delicacies.

The best of the Sporadians.

The views from our balcony were fantastic, the best of the trip.  Very clean. The owners are very friendly and are always near the house. There is a small beach next to the apartment (2 minutes by food) and the nice port of Agios Petros, with restaurants and bars. We were there 4 days and couldn't be better. 

The best place of our holiday 

My wife and I stayed here for the last week in September. The accomodation consists of one bedroom with a small kitchen area and a bathroom with wash basin, shower and toilet. The "kitchen" is not suitable for self catering given that there is only one small hot plate and one "bricky" (very small pan holding enough water for two cups of coffee).
There is a shared outdoor area with seating and shade. There you will find a cooking area with barbecue and double gas ring.
In the room, the kitchen equipment is very basic. We would have found a bread knife, cutting board and a couple of bowls very useful.
On the plus side, the view from the balcony is lovely and the sun rises beautifully over Peristera Island across the bay. 
We chose to eat  at the tiny port of Steni Vala just 5 minutes easy walk along the coastal path. Here you will find a good choice of excellent tavernas, two small supermarkets and the bus stop.
The owners, Odysseas and Katerina are lovely and both very helpful.
From the rooms, you can also walk to Kalamakia - another little harbour with a couple of lovely tavernas. It is about a 20 minute walk, but a great way to enjoy a lovely fish lunch!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it. Good value for money too.

Basic but comfortable.

Pros: 
- The view of the balcony is breathtaking!
- There is a beach right next to the resort (1 min on foot) which is one of the best in the whole island.
- Very quiet place
- It's a family business and the owners (Odysseas and Katerina) are very friendly and willing to give a lot of information about the island
- Nearby village (Votsi) is a very nice place (5m on foot from the resort) which is ideal for morning coffee (you have to try the home-made spanakopita Alonnisou!) and restaurants with great food.

Cons:
- The bathroom needed some attention (i think there was a leakage somewhere making it hard to keep the bathroom clean) and there is a curtain around the shower instead of glass which makes it impossible not to flood the whole bathroom
- The equipment of the room is poor (no A/C, no signal for TV) but there is so much to see on the island that you don't need luxury
- Difficult to reach

Overall Alonnisos is a great island if you look for a quiet place for your holidays with really nice nature, full of trees, very good food for all budgets and friendly people. A useful advice is to rent an offroad car if you want to explore the whole island as there many non asphalt 'streets'. Whoever likes offroading that's the place for you!

Amazing view!

I stayed for six nights in this accommodation together with my companion and, having read some reviews on various sites, under a splendid moon and a stove, and having also stayed in another structure of the island, I sincerely expected a decisamnete higher result. Having said this, the facility's definitely strong point (and only say) is the fantastic view that you can enjoy on the underlying bay that allows you to feel the sea, to have breakfast at sunrise and dinner, perhaps in the light of a candle, under a splendid moon and a stove. For the rest the nearby beach/bay of Agios Petros is present is nothing more than a very small ice cream parlor, rather than a very narrow cozy area of the island.
