Me and my girlfriend went here for our first trip together and it was wonderful. Everyone was very nice and they were available all the time. Good place for adults as there are not many kids. Most people were 50+ when we were there. Good food and room service. The bungalows were clean and had everything we needed. The view from this village is absolutely beautiful. Would reccomend going here if you want a relaxing vacation, not if you want to party. There are a number of restaurants and markets nearby as well.

Wonderful village and first trip

This was our second visit. It was absolutely fabulous again. Such a lovely warm welcome from Alex and Sonila as soon as we arrived. Such a lovely family and made our stay so very special. Fabulous views from our bungalow. Ate most evenings in the restaurant as Sonila is such a great chef. She really went the extra mile and cooked some fantastic meals. She also does great breakfasts, lunches and snacks. It was great to sit by the pool, have a swim, enjoy a snack and take in those wonderful views. Helen was very helpful and welcoming  and made the booking very easy. Alex, Sonilla and Merremae really made our holiday and we had some great laughs and had so much fun. We will be back again to this wonderful special place.

Fabulous  Place

We loved literally everything. Food, service, accomodation... Not really fans of the the steep hill ;) but anyway, appartement (we stayed in Atlas) are really cozy, food at the restaurant is exceptional (thank you Alex!) and views...just amazing! In case we have a chance we would love to come back.

I've been in Lesvos many times, and love this Island.
I've also been in Anaxos Hills hotels many times before, but only for drinks and the stunning view.
I didn't knew they had a restaurant before, and the food was excellent!!
Alex and his crew served the best food and he always in good mood.

One of the best restsutant and View in Lesvos!

We really like this hotel. Lovely small own cottage with amazing view! Good breakfast and food, nearby beach and restaurants. There was a bottle of whitewine waiting for us in our room. Sunsets was amazing, in our own terrace was perfect view to the ocean. We are comeing again!

Lovely place!

Such a great place and perfect for that relaxing holiday. It is lovely and quiet. We arrived at 9pm and were welcomed by Stavros who was very  helpful and showed us to our bungalow. It was great to find that the restaurant was still serving dinner. Dinner was very tasty .well we got up the next morning and wow what a view from the bungalow absolutely stunning. Bungalow is very spacious and well equipped. It has an oven, kettle, hob and coffee machine in the kitchen area. Nice double bed which we have found is comfortable. The accommodation is exceptionally clean and in good condition. Lovely terrace with table and chairs and lovely to sit and have a drink in the evening. Breakfast is good with great choices. Absolutely love the fruit , honey and yoghurt. Restaurant has lovely views. We have eaten dinner here every night as it is so good. Food is exceptionally good and home cooked. Alex who serves the meals and drinks and cooks as well is a real gem. He is so friendly and makes you feel right at home. Pool area is perfect with plenty of sun beds and parasols. Lovely large pool. Air conditioning is available at 7 euros per day. There is also a safe at a cost of 1 Euro per day. There is also a small daily tourist tax. Meal and drink prices are very reasonable.

Beach is great with coarse sand. It is a little rocky in the sea but would advise that you go to the far end of the beach where it is less rocky. No need to pay for sun beds and parasols as  long as you have a drink from the restaurant who owns them. Great place to have lunch. Recommend the coast as you only need to press a button on the parasol and a server will arrive  to take your order.

Anaxos has a number of small shops including a bakery selling everything you could possibly need. There are also car and bike rental places as well as a pharmacy. There is a local bus service running to Petra and Molyvos.it is a very pretty village.

Wow What a Fantastic Place

A big thank you to Alex and Sonila for a wonderful May half term holiday. We travelled as 2 families with kids aged between 10-14 and were able to relax and switch off as soon as we arrived at the island. Accommodation was simple but clean and had everything we needed. The location is stunning from every part of the resort. Recommend having a G&T or local beer while you watch the sunset from the terrace. The food was generous and varied and we enjoyed being introduced to new dishes by Alex. We have tried to recreate the Anaxos Hill breakfast back at home but cannot match Lesbos greek yoghurt and honey! Just a short walk down to the beach and various restaurants and a lovely stroll round the coast to Petra. The only downside was we were too early in the season to make the most of water sports in the bay. We loved Lesbos and while we usually never go back to the same place we would seriously consider coming back to stay at Anaxos Hill next year. Thank you Alex!

Wonderful welcome and stunning views

We booked two rooms with a friend's family. The rooms were next to each other and we had a wonderful time. The kids were from 2 to 5 years old. The rooms were clean and with all most everything we wanted. You will need water and something for the mosquitos because they are so many. The rooms were clean. The weather at this location changes all the time so you may not be allowed to go to the very nice beach next to the apartments, so the available pool is very useful. The kids playground looked poor to me.

We had a good time

At the end of the season I stayed here for one week. It was only me and it was really a great place to stay for relaxing. A short walk to Petra for shopping and relaxing. Nearby a beach with possibillities for eating and drinks. The owner of the place was very welcoming and helpful. I stayed in a small cottage with a fantastic seaviev.  

Høstferie

We had a bungalow with a view across Petra bay.  We were there last 2  weeks in September and Anaxos was very quiet at night.  The hill up to accomodation is steep,as we are elderly we had a hire car but to go to Petra for a meal with a drink we used Taxis which were 6 euros each way.  Thank you to Stavros for all your help, always cheerful nothing too much trouble.
