Had the most lovely stay at Esperance in October. The hotel is in the most ideal location just opposite the port - got checked in before our ferry had even left the port!

Reception was very friendly. Got directed to a lovely fresh room. Beds were super comfortable, and  the whole room was immaculate. Appeared freshly renovated. Bathroom was great - small but really nicely done.

Breakfast was also worth paying for - got a selection of lots of different breakfast foods (table service) and coffee was great. They also let us leave our bags all day as we had a very late ferry out of Syros the day we were leaving.

The best hotel on our Greek trip so far.  Cannot believe how reasonable the price was either. Thank you very much! We will be back!

Absolutely fabulous hotel - 110% recommend

The service provided by Kostas to me is of the highest standard. There was a confusion with two bookings which was my own doing but Kostas went over and beyond to rectify the issue and to help me as soon as possible. I am very grateful for the assistance, understanding and empathy he showed to my situation. Definitely worth staying at a hotel where they care about their customers.

Amazing Service

Very nice and cosy hotel across the road from the port. You actually look at the hotel when you get off the boat. Helpful staff, and very clean. The bus station is only a few meters away, where you easy can take buses to the different beaches on the island. The center of the town with plenty of hood restaurants is just a small walk aeay. Even so close to the bus station, road and port, it is quite quiet in the rooms.

Very nice hotel 50 meters from the port

Esperance 1: all though we were in the port, I would say this hotel was in a great location, right across the street from the port and Bus stop. 
The Hotel staff was full of information, spoke good English and was able to help us with our excursions and restaurant recommendations. 
Breakfast was included and was fresh and satisfying.
The rooms were small, but we had everything we needed.
There is no elevator, but the staff will help you with your bags as you need. As we were on the third floor.


Harbor Delight 

This hotel Esperance 1 and 2 are great.
Staff including the owners are amazing and very helpful.
Best and most convenient location in Syros, great value for money and overall and a very special place. Also a  cute patio to enjoy a breakfast or a Greek frappe coffee.

Definately a gem in the gorgeous and cosmopolitan island of Syros.

Fantastic Experience

This is a well-priced hotel right at the port - as a matter of fact, we walked off the ferry, took a left and saw the hotel - it is minutes from the ferry (and we were thankful). We were greeted, got our room, they carried our bags, and we opened our window to the port and sea...Nice! I really like the entrance of the hotel which is set with tables, a bar, breakfast - it is a nice look and feel.  The rooms are nice, the beds comfortable, the breakfast terrific, and everything in walking distance. We rented a car right next door and that made exploring easy. Syros has some nice shops, restaurants and we were close to all of that. You do walk the stairs as there is no lift, but that wasn't a problem - that's Greece! You do a lot of walking and climbing - all good! The hosts are all welcoming and helpful. They check the schedules, make good recommendations and are helpful. This is a good spot in Syros!

Right off the Ferryport - Great Rooms! Great People!

We stayed in the hotel for 12 nights and the overall experience was amazing. Service was great, all areas (room and common) were very clean and breakfast was very good. People in the hotel were helpful, friendly and kind to advise you for all the infos needed for the island. Hotel was located in very good place in the center near to everything that you need. We suggest this as an option to stay with no doubt if you will be visiting Syros.

Amazing Experience

Stayed for 1 night only. Very conveniently located just opposite the ferry drop off point. Room was very clean with good facilities. Nicely decorated with an atmospheric feel. Slight problem with road noise but easily solved by closing the windows and using the aircon.  Family run with nice staff who took good care of us, including looking after our luggage after checkout and storing valuables safely whilst we roamed around after checkout but before our evening departure. Definitely  recommended. 

Excellent Conveniently Located Hotel

We stayed 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We had the middle room top floor with little balcony overlooking the port and a great view of the town and the ferries coming and going. Room was quiet with windows shut thanks to double glazing. It wasn't that big but had space for 2 suitcases without having to trip over them, and was lovely and light, bright and very clean. We did have a little issue with water pressure a couple of mornings, being on the top floor I guess. Twin beds pushed together is not my favourite but not unusual in Europe, and the beds and pillows were really comfy. Our housekeeper was very sweet and did a wonderful job every day. Fridge was a little noisy at night and we had to unplug a couple of times. Staff were always super helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again! 

Great boutique hotel

Good location for going to other island on Blue Star ferries comes every day.
This month I took ferry to Athens from Kos and then onto Syros and back to Kos.
Syros is a lovely and worth while place to have a two week holiday.
