The most beautiful scenery over the harbor of Agios kirykos , the best cocktails by Dmitri and Marsha . Perfect little spot to stay and enjoy the town with you partner and friends. Would highly recommend this place. Lovely place. Awesome breakfast and coffee spot to enjoy .

Incredible view and atmosphere!
Best Breakfast and  found they made late night espresso martinis. Rooms were clean and with a balcony that viewed the emerald colored Agean sea. Beautiful place for breakfast and also a late night cocktail, our favorite place for a cocktail in aygios. We also love Marsha who runs the show.

2 night stay

Im staying at the Pension  Akti,  in the port at Ikaria.
        It's one of the most beautiful places I"ve been to in the greek islands, the rooms are lovely and the views are absolutely  stunning.  Set in a cliff face over looking  the pretty harbour,with views of the nearby  islands.. Its has a fabulous bar, the owners are a  welcoming, friendly family. reasonable prices for rooms. can thoroughly  recommend  it. Liz Dean

Beautiful rooms, Beautiful  views

Akti is good for the ferry terminal and in town so it's easy to access the bus to Therma (5 minute journey). 
The property is clean and basic and the double rooms are small. It's perfect as a base to explore Ikaria and there is a cafe attached to the property with amazing views over the Agean Sea. 
There are many other places to eat or drink just across the road. 
Hot water is plentiful and the wifi is fast and free. 
On the downside it is a bit expensive for what you get and comparatively higher to other accommodation on the island both in Agios Kirikos and Therma. 



basic accommodation, clean and central 

I stayed here for three nights at this well located budget hotel, about half a mile to the right on the headland overlooking the harbour as you get off the ferry. Rooms are small, basic and a bit shabby but clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. The owners were friendly and spoke good English. The cafe attached to the hotel is a good place for breakfast, the food and service are very good and the view across the harbour provides the perfect start to the day. Very good value for money, recommended!

Good budget choice and location for the ferry terminal

I had a single room which wasn't the best with no view and found it noisy with people slamming doors. No one came near my room to clean while I was there but the owner was helpful and friendly.  It's not an island I would return to, finding it completely unattractive and uncared for.  The whole place needs to be spruced up. The complete opposite to its neighbouring island Fourni.

Absolutely overpriced! The rooms are nothing much, certainly not worth the money they cost. Hotel amenities were absolutely basic. The place was terribly noisy with kids running and shouting all about and groups of people going in and out of the coffee bar. Now as about the coffee bar it was overpriced as well; the coffee didn't taste good enough even though they were supposed to be using a good commercial brand (perhaps it was because of the tap water they used), the breakfast was indifferent as well as the desserts and snacks and, on the whole, we didn't feel we got our money's worth of services. I wouldn't recommend it.

Worst Greek experience after 40 years . Every night loud party on the terrace with 30-40 people till 3am and impossible to sleep. When complaining answer was: get up and join the party. More: room not ready, not the booked room and host not care

Hair on the floor and even on the sheets. Broken floor tiles on the balcony. No view at all. Nothing to hang clothes or wet swimsuit etc, inside or on balcony. Dirty old plastic chairs, no table at all. Balcony literally shared with next room. Door lock nearly didn’t work. Balcony door the same. Dirty old wooden wardrobe with things been left inside for ages. Rusty (almost dangerous) metal accessories in the bathroom. Bathroom smelled like it was wet forever. A/C struggling to work. Room so small you can’t even walk safely. I’m sure I forget many other things. Pls excuse my poor English.
