This summer we chose Venetiko Studios for our accommodation and its proved an excellent decision!

Whatever we say, it will be too little for the owners of the lodging, Mrs. Dora and Mr. Antonis did the best to keep us satisfied. They are a very hospitable, friendly and gentle couple. They were always willing to give us useful information about our tour of the island, choices about our transportation and food.

Venetiko studios,  is located in a privileged location, very close to the center and to the bus stop but in a quiet spot, in addition it is extremely well-kept and clean. The first impression when you enter the accommodation is enough to win you. It seems that special care and attention has been given to every detail. The view from the veranda with the pergola on top is very beautiful as you see Pera Gialos, scattered white houses as sculptures , and Astypalea spreading to the blue of the Aegean Sea.

The apartment, was admittedly spacious enough, the scent of cleanliness was noticeable. It was equipped with all the necessary appliances, ready to meet every visitor's need. We were particularly impressed that there was even an iron and an ironing board!! The closet was very large and the bed very comfortable.

The only, perhaps, blemish was the view form  the window of the bedroom, which was looking at the back of the lodge. However, the view from the kitchen was compensating. Apart from cleanliness, the apartment was very cool and soundproofed. 

For those who go to the island by car or motor cycle, they will not have any problems with parking, as there is parking in front of the property with limited positions though.

Overall, it was enchanting!  Venetiko studios definitely stands out in Astypalaia. We were very happy with our stay there. We recommend it unreservedly to those who choose Astypalea as their next destination. We will visit it again.

Excellent stay

Dora and her wife Antonis offer a unique experience of hospitality.
We were greeted by Antonis in the windmills area after our arrival at 01:00 in the morning (boat's schedule).
The room is new and was cleaned every day during our 4 days stay, fully equipped even for dining and cooking in the room, the air condition was functional. The double bed was among the most relaxing I 've ever slept. The photos in their website and booking.com are accurate.

Antonis provided us with information about the island, places to eat and which beaches to visit depending on the wind, we followed his advices and we did not regret.  He also went the extra mile to arrange for a wardrobe malfunction of my girlfriend's dress to be repaired at the local tailor, hours before our departure!!

The location  is ideal. It is very close to the windmills area, the main square of Chora, the view from the yard is breathtaking and we relaxed every afternoon in the table (common for all rooms, but also separate tables are also available at the yard)

Strongly recommended, would definitely love to stay again if I visit the island!!!!!
The biggest asset are the owners and their sense of hospitality!!!
(at the time of the review -31st july - the hotel is seen on google maps as located in the port. This is not correct. The hotel is on the hill, overlooking the port, offering an amazing view)
