I wasn't too fussed about the lack of shower curtain. When it's 39C outside you spend a lot of time in the shower! A shower curtain would only get in the way.
The apartment is basic, clean and in need of a little tlc. The owner was friendly and polite. The beach and it's restaurant was a great asset.
If you want a reasonably priced place to stay look no further.

Good value 

Let’s start with the positive: cheap affordable accommodation with private beach. The people who look after the beach and bar along with their son are extremely kind and helpful.

The negatives: room is very basic which isn’t the issue
 however, the shower is  80cm x 80cm without a shower curtain! And live electrical wires in shower!
Towels and sheets changed on a adhoc basis and no general cleaning carried out for the duration of our 15 day stay. if you expect the customer to do it fir you, make sure that you leave the cleaning equipment!
Mattresses are extremely hard and uncomfortable I’m not usually difficult but the bed was far too hard to sleep. I noticed that other people have complained about this issue on Trip advisor.

Kitchen only has a kettle and a toasted sandwich maker - way too basic! 

The worst part of our stay was the promise of a hired car for 25 euros a day and emails confirming this were received twice after checking and double checking with the owner. On arrival and due to the unexpected number of tourists on the island, as it is a “supply and demand” the owner (Nikos) had multiplied  the prices and didn’t care at all that he had promised  a  vehicle for his customer before arrival! This ruined our holiday as we had wanted a car for 15 days!  Today as I write this review, people in the next room told us that he offered them a car for even more money !  The owner doesn’t care and was very rude and un accommodating. We are extremely disappointed and will certainly not return! 

If I could offer some advice to the owners it would be:

Buy cheap but half decent mattresses from IKEA and change pillows and mattresses - sleep is your business!!!  And maintain a cleaning or change program for the bed linen more often as the stains on practically  every pillow and mattresses were shocking- yuk!

Ensure that the cleaners change sheets and towels every 2-3 days and clean the rooms!!!

Leave instructions and a menu in each room informing customers of what is available at the bar located on the beach with directions and opening hours.
Put a stove in each kitchen  allowing people to cook.
Your business like most of Greece is built around tourism so show a little more courtesy and professionalism when dealing with your customers!

Where to begin , the guy who runs the apartment is SO rude , he did not show us how to use the air con then complained about us using too much electricity, on our last day he confronted my daughter and myself saying she was a different person despite having seen us together every day, the pictures are deceiving, the beach opposite is lovely but it is separated by a busy main road , our view overlooked the car park , nicer and cheaper available in the area , if corfu were not so amazing staying at this apartment would have ruined our holiday

Avoid avoid avoid !!! 

Writing an honest review is essential to be fair to anybody thinking of booking the proposed establishment. However I’m also very aware that a review needs to be fair to the business involved as any negativity can be very damaging. I’m therefore writing this with. Heavy heart as I’m struggling to find anything very positive to say about Faliraki Apartments at Benitses Corfu.
Whilst our room was large and had separate kitchen and shower rooms they were very very dated with all furnishings dating back at least fourty years.
The bed mattresses are so hard I couldn’t sleep very well.  The furniture old and brown. 
Nothing nice about any of it. It was however perfectly functional.
On arrival the owner met us off the public bus as there is a stop right outside the hotel and my email to the establishment prior to our holiday was kindly replied to with good instructions on how to access the area using public transport.  The owner showed us to our room and explained how the hot water electrics worked but he never explained anything about the air con, I got the expression that he preferred us not to use anything electric more than necasary as he asked us to turn the water off after five minutes.  Again the electrics appeared dated although I’m sure they are safe.
On a good note we had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea, it was sad however that there is a very busy main road between the hotel and the beach. Lorries are very frequently passing. Photographs do not show this. 
What really caused us a great deal of inconvenience was the lack of advertised facilities. There were no sun beds to use. No breakfast available as advertised an£ no bar or cafe. In fact there was nothing unless you travelled a good kilometre to the nearest restaurants and shops. As we cant drive this was a major negative for us as i5 also meant walking at night in the dark on our own ( 2 females) . There was a footpath on the stretch we used so we were grateful for this as footpaths were seldom seen in the area. 
All in all it was not a pleasant stay . It was just OK. I seriously considered leaving after the first night and booking in elsewhere but as we were only staying in Corfu for four nights we stayed until the end. 
I left one of my towels on the floor to be replaced and laundered as I got it dirty using it to stand on in the shower room ( puddles because there was no shower mat) . The towel was not replaced just picked up and hung up in the bathroom. The one single use pot of body wash which I used the first  shower I had was never replaced. I used bar soap the other days. 
Kitchen was ok and the Toasted sandwich maker was used and welcomed . 
Pots and pans were old but again functionable.
I feel sorry I have had to write like this but I want  to warn others.
Sadly the customer experience here  is not so pleasant in my opinion.

Dated rooms on a main road without advertised facilities.

We were a group of 7 persons and we choose Faliraki Apartments  after reading the goods opinions on TripAdvisor, and we have been very Happy of this choice.
The staff is lovely ( expecially Mr. Nicolas) and helped us with every request or necessity. We also decided to rent two cars trought the service of renting offered by Mr Nicolas.
The apartments have old forniture but are very confortable.
The position of the structure is the better characteristic : It is exactly in front of the Sea , and It has a fantastic private Small and quiet beach with a Little beach bar too. It has also a bus stop in front of the building.
 I definitely recommed this structure because has a very good price for the services offered: is not luxurious but is perfect for people looking for a low cost, well organized and close to beach apartments .


Fantastic position, lovely staff

For the price, you get what you pay. Older but okay furniture and kitchen. Family who runs it is nice people. great view from the balconies but with no protection from eary morning sun (it faces Eastwards so sun is there from the moment it rises). One big issue is lack of power sockets, there is litteraly one (max 2) per room and when you use one for A/C there is none left for your charger, moskito protection etc... Beach is small, nice, clean with a nice bar on it, several sets of umbrellas and beach chairs which are free for the Villa guests. Warm water for shower is always there, you wont be missing it. Villa is , as said, totally okay :)

Good located with a nice little beach

The private Beach is a little slice of heaven with great breakfast lunch snack options. A healthy and local dish of the Day is always prepared and We can warmly
Recommend over Any pizza or burger.. upstairs rooms and cars can be hired for a great price. Jokes and clean sheets included xxxx 👍
