Nice place, comfortable and quiet. Garden and pool really nice. The négative points are mainly related to the lack of services. Thé person that is in charge doesnt speak english which makes really hard to comunícate with. The owners are really kind but not always there.

Calm place next to thé beach

It's a really nice little hotel. We were here for a week and we felt comfortable around. Christina runs the hotel for the owners and is always there for you. It's totally quiet. You usually only hear the birds and the sea. There's a mini market right around the corner where you can get the most you need. On the beach you can find beds and a number of good restaurants. Good location to explore the north of the island. Have seen. There's a small parking lot at the hotel. So when it's very crowded you can also find plenty of space by the sea or up on the street.

Quiet hotel in the best position

Rooms with modern amenities. Beautiful, well-maintained facilities. Quiet and close to the beach. The only star feature: towels are changed only every three days. Breakfast is also available in cafes around, ilo ilo is recommended, for example.

Nice little hotel.

We selected this hotel based on other travellers' reviews after choosing Corfu as a last minute destination after another holiday fell through 48 hours before departure.  Maria, the owner, was quick to reply to my queries and welcoming and friendly on the phone. We were allocated three rooms on the top floor for our family spread over two buildings. The rooms were immaculately clean and stylishly furnished. We especially liked the roomy bathrooms with a rain shower and separate flexible shower head (good water pressure).  The towels were of excellent quality and the bed  one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The rooms have high ceilings which enhanced the feeling of  spaciousness. The air-conditioning system is modern, efficient and quiet.  The grounds around the building have been beautifully landscaped with lovely flower-filled pergolas and plenty of comfortable sunbeds and garden furniture. The swimming pool was clean and very warm. 

Maria is an excellent host who was always available to sort out any issues (for example with a weak WiFi signal). The caretaker, who lives on the premises, was very kind and helpful. During our stay she asked us which days/time we would prefer our room to be cleaned to avoid inconveniencing us. 

The location of the hotel is ideal, just 2 mins on foot from the beach and around the corner from a useful mini market with everything you could need from milk to anti-mosquito spray.  Acharavi beach itself is a pebble beach that's hard on the feet, but we overcame this problem with slip-on rock shoes from the mini market. The beachfront is lined with great tavernas and restaurants. We tried quite a few but Maistro beat them all hands down with tasty dishes made with good quality ingredients and excellent service. We went to the Greek night there twice (Tuesdays) and had an unforgettable night each time!

Beautiful hotel

We stayed with 12 friends for four nights at Satori. It was great! Maria, the owner, and her team welcomed us warmly and gave us a very nice stay. The rooms and the whole facility are very, very nice and well maintained. The situation could hardly be better. The beach is only a few meters away and the town centre is also only five minutes away. We will definitely be back.👍

Accommodation in Acharavi

Absolutely loved staying here. We had two rooms, one which was accessible for my mum and one with a kitchenette. The hotel has recently been renovated and both rooms have been finished really nicely.
I had the pool to myself most days and it's very close to the beach if you prefer the sea to a pool. 
Not too far to walk up to the main road but there are plenty of restaurants on the beachfont to choose from.

Wee Gem

Fabulous luxury small hotel close to Acharavi beach and the warm waters of the Adriatic where there is an abundant choice of restaurants for a family dinner, after swim drinks or quick ice cream. 

The wonderful hosts and family are available for any advice on day trips, where to eat or even local BBQ tips. Nothing is too much trouble.

The swimming pool provides welcome relief from the sun and there are more than enough sunbeds and shaded areas to prevent even the most pedantic from reserving loungers.

The accommodation is well appointed (we had a kitchenette) with a power shower and is regularly and thoroughly cleaned.

Fabulous holiday and would highly recommend and hopefully return.



Highly recommended 

Location is excellent, specially if you'd like to explore the north area of Corfu. The best beaches north-east/west are just a 20 minutes away (by car). 
Breakfast is available, we had the omelet and it was great. 
The room was spacious and the air-conditioning worked very well. The wardrobe door was a bit noisy. Would be nice to have complimentary bottle of water left everyday!
Communication was easy (mostly WhatsApp) and there was even a nice PDF with recommendations from best restaurants and beaches near by.

Great place to stay!

Stayed there as a family of 4 in a 2 bdrm/2 bath apartment on the 2nd floor in one of the four 2-storey villas they have.

Everything about this property is premium: the location (50m from the beach), the carefully landscaped & manicured garden and lawn, the good sized pool, the fantastically well arranged and appointed living spaces (apartments). Layout, size, furniture, fixtures, fantastic A/C, naturally ventilated bathroom, shower, towels, everything is top notch, the likes of a 4-5* boutique hotel.

Own, free parking on the property grounds. The place can accommodate tightly up to 6-7 small cars but could be quite difficult maneuvering to drive in/out. If the parking is full, finding alternatives will be daunting. No parking space outside the gates (property is on a very, very narrow alley, anything larger than a scooter will not fit safely). There are 4-5 places at the beach end of the street (always taken). Plenty of street parking at the opposite end, where the narrow alley intersects the main road, but it's 500m away from hotel, very impractical. So, a matter of chance...

Hosts (Maria, Dino and their two beautiful kids) live on the premises, are very nice and obliging (Dino is into boating, if that's your thing you found the right person to talk to, as they also offer sailing cruises by own boat!).

What affects this otherwise outstanding property is the virtually absence of hotel services: there is breakfast available, but only on (daily) demand and it is visibly priced to motivate guests to find alternatives elsewhere. 
No prospects of getting food on the premises during the day once the breakfast is over. No prospect of getting any drinks on the premises, either. Nor an ice cream for the kids. No chance of a drink, cold or hot, by the pool. You have to either go out to eat & drink or go grocery shopping.

So, accommodation - be it an outstanding one - is all that is basically offered. The breakfast, if you care to fill out the breakfast option card the day before and are prepared to pay cca 22+ euros/pp for a full breakfast (eggs, sweet & savory patisserie, Greek yogurt with fruit & honey, coffee, tea, OJ). The alternative, at some of the best restaurants on the beach (ex. Maistro, 150m away) would cost cca 10-12 euros/pp.

The property is maintained impeccably, looks great. Room cleaning though, is somewhat hit & miss: some days flawless, other days rushed through (either floors not cleaned or towels not changed when due or some toiletries not replenished). 

You have few good options to eat around. A couple of places on the beach, (Maistro is chief among them), others in the opposite direction, on the main road where you will also find many supermarkets to stock up on groceries.

Not fond about the beach next to the hotel. Among the many places & beaches I visited throughout Greece over many years, Acharavi sits close to the bottom of my list with its murky waters, no trees/vegetation to line the beach (whereas Corfu is the Greek island with most luxurious and diverse vegetation in the country) but an agglomeration of unappealing buildings and structures, sun loungers too tightly arranged, congestion of people compared to (many) other beaches. Hence the need to drive every day in order to enjoy better beaches and visit attractions.
Best way to visit and experience beaches is by boat rental, on both East and West coasts of the Northern part of the island (for West coast rent from Paleokastritsa, for East coast rent from either Kassiopi or Agios Stefanos).

Be careful with driving, which you will have a lot to do in order to visit Corfu. I found Corfu roads to be more hazardous and difficult than anywhere I've driven in Greece, on either mainland or islands.

Bottom line:
The property is head and shoulders above anything we investigated in the area. The real estate they offer is of high, stand-out, standard. The price, 185 eur/night without breakfast (and any chances to eat or drink anything on the premises) reflects it.

What I felt this property (term better suited than ' hotel') fails to deliver, despite being top notch design, tranquil and very comfortable, is a memorable holiday experience by way of services, human touch and soul/character, possibility to enjoy a drink/snack when craving one. 
The nearby beach didn't make up for it either, so we went to find our experiences exclusively outside the property and outside of Acharavi.

For us, Acharavi did not hit the spot, primarily where the beach experience was concerned. We'll definitely not recommend this area. 
Corfu is a big island and offers much, much better surroundings and beaches, look somewhere else for your piece of Greek island paradise.

Satori Boutique Hotel was a good base for exploring the north part of Corfu. Not ideally located, route-wise, but good enough and excellent sleeping & parking quarters. 
Quite expensive for just sleeping, parking and really not much else, it is definitely not a value proposition.

However, this is our own perspective, one may find it better suited to own needs and liking, which is fair enough.

One thing is clear: if you are headed for Acharavi, there is no better property to stay at than Satori Boutique Hotel. Period.

Probably the best property in Acharavi. Probably.

Beautiful Hotel 80 mts near the sea on Achavari beach. Calm and relaxing place where you will find clean and spacious rooms updated recently. Parking included.  Many good places near the hotel to take sunbath with amacas & umbrella with drinks sand serving while you enjoy your holidays. If you want to watch wonderful sunsets at the sea this this the right place. 10 minutes driving you will find the most beautiful beaches in Corfu Island. Fully recommendable if you want to stay away from crowded holiday places in July.
