Booked a seaview apartment and wasn't disappointed.  Room 31 is the best view on the top floor and we were lucky enough to get it. The apartment was really clean, and the lovely Christina came in every day and made the bed (properly) and tidied round, emptying our bins and checking we were ok for towels.  Loved the sun trap on the balcony which in April the sun arrived at 2pm and stayed in view till sundown.  Was pleasantly warm in the evenings in the apartment too but we found lovely cosy red blankets to use if we had felt a bit chilly after the sun went down.  Lots of room to store our belongings and a really comfy bed.   We used the fridge, stove top, kettle and toasted sandwich maker to make toast, and stocked up at the supermarket which was less than a 5 minutes walk away. Only a 15 minute walk to the old harbour, and plenty of restaurants along our beach front to choose from too.  The beach was also beautiful and very clean. Was wonderful, thanks so much Magia Apartments and Chania, for the best week away in a long time.

Best Apartments Ever!

I stayed at Magia Apartments last week with my wife for our wedding anniversary. We stayed in Apartment 31 and had a sea view as promised. The room gets the sun in the afternoon and evening, so it's a lovely place to have a sundowner before heading out.
Chania's Venitian harbour is just 1.5km away, we covered that distance is a mere 15 minutes and there you will find all the bars and restaurants you could ever want.
The local restaurants just around the corner from the apartment are equally good, although we didn't manage to try them all!
The local Kavos supermarket had everything we needed as we did eat in a couple of nights.
The apartment was kept spotless by Christina, who looked after us really well, there is plenty of wardrobe space and the beds are very comfortable.
If you're looking to spend time in the beautiful city of Chania, and want to be just out of the hustle and bustle that the narrow streets create, then I can't recommend Magia Apartments highly enough.

Chania's Best Kept Secret

Nice location right next to Nea Chora beaches and seafront restaurants.  Apartments are a better choice than the studios, particularly better than the (Room 10) garden-view studio.  Other studios are a better option. Very friendly owner and staff.

Very good Nea Chora apartment

The location is one of the best: 15 minutes sea side walk to Chania old harbor, in front of the beach (ok an average beach but good to know its close for a morning or evening swim), easy parking in front or around, very very clean, modern decoration, nice bed and helpful reception. Also, you can find bakeries and taverns very close to the hotel. Cons: the area is touristic, we had twin beds and our balcony was rather small. Overall, if you want all the above benefits it is difficult to find a better facility for 110€ per night in August.

Solid choice for the pricey and busy Greek August

Got home from Channia 29/9/18 What a lovely holiday. The Magia Apartments were just a 10 to 15 mins away from Channia town depending  on how  fast you walk. The apartments have a sea view and are virtually on the  beach. We cannot recommend  them highly enough,  very stylish decor with everything anyone could need. We had the best beds after 30 years of going to Greece. The bed linen and towels were changed every other day.  Our lovely host Sophia could not have been more helpful  and bubbly which made our  holiday  even better and also thanks to Christina for keeping  our rooms immaculate. Wonderful apartments,fabulous location !

I found booking directly and pre-paying was the best deal. Location was great and easy drive from the airport.  Right on the beach and lovely restaurants. Recommend Achilleas Fish Tavern and Portes.  Nice walk to the port starting along side the beach and then carrying on along the sea front.  To have the longer walk home after our evening meal was perfect way to relax. We had a studio with partial sea view. the beds were comfy, really good air-con and really clean. Nice balcony with a small table, 2 chairs and a clothes drier. Toiletries included were really nice and good quality.  We didn't use the kitchenette other than the fridge for water, but it was very well stocked. the room servicing every day was really great, we'd come back early evening to a tidy and clean room.  The decor is modern and minimal, and cute at the same time.
Sofia on reception is really lovely and helpful person.  helped us out with getting to understand the area and how to plan our days.  We actually spent most of our days being active and exploring.  We definitely want to return to Chania, it's a beautiful area and well worth going.

Loved Chania! Loved Magia!

Good location just a few steps from the beach and all tavernas at the beachwalk. The room was like a ordinary hotel room but with a small pentry. You can make your own breakfast but I will not recommend any more cooking. The room is modern and very fresh and clean. The beds are comfy. There is not much view from the balcony. Opposite is Hotel Christina, if you look right you will have a small view of the sea and if you have a look at the right you will see the mountains. The room was very quite. There is only staff at certain times at the reception. Sofia, who made the check in was very nice.
