The hotel is family run, newly renovated and even if it has no TV (it can sometimes go without a TV), it is very nice to spend a few days here. We felt very comfortable at all times. The rooms are a little smaller but still comfortable and sufficient.

Very nice hotel in Chania

The hotel is right in front of the Nea Chora Beach and the hospitality is impeccable. I had a great time. It is family run, so the food is also authentic & really good. I reached earlier and they had my room ready and even offered me breakfast. The hosts were available to any questions or help. You can spend the whole day on the beach and go to the Chania Old town in the evening, which is a mere 15-mins walk. The whole stretch has restaurants and supermarkets to provide you everything you need. The rooms are bit small but that didn’t bother me as I had a lovely view from the balcony. The service is impressive.

I had an amazing time!

Great hotel, everyone is very nice and friendly! Speak very good German! Room is completely sufficient! Breakfast is lavish and delicious... so there is nothing to complain about! Can I calmly recommend further! A week can be relaxed here! It's also not far from the city center! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

It was nice!

It's a nice little family hotel right on the beach, very friendly host, the breakfast buffet isn't overloaded, yet it doesn't leave any wishes open, there's plenty of choice for dinner and it tastes great!

I can recommend it.

We stayed here for 6 nights after arriving in Crete. The rooms are very small but with the balcony, we found them clean and adequate. Staff are all friendly and helpful. It’s about 15 minutes walk along the coast into old Chania. The beach outside the hotel is sandy but it was quite windy whilst we were there. Breakfasts were included in the room tariff but were commonly quite basic. Overall, good value. 

Clean but small rooms in good location 

Best on the island. Best location, food, value for money and (most important) Koukouvitakis family who run it all. We have been going for 37 years and it just gets better. Chania HAS become very busy, but Nea Hora beach is still a bit of a secret

Very nice hotel with balcony and sea view very convenient for swimming-personal very welcoming-hotel with thousand snacks- nice lunch included in the fare close to the centre - easy to find parking- delicious sea and umbrella to rent just in front of the hotel very convenient

It's perfect.

It's located on the first line of the sea and a little far from the city center although you can walk in about 20 minutes. The breakfast buffet is right. The bathroom is pretty bad. There is no curtain in the shower, no place to hang the shower phone, the bathroom shelves hang by the hair and nothing can be left in them. There is no shampoo, just a soap pill. The room has a narrow balcony that gives an interior patio, no TV and the bed is quite clean. The cleaning is fairly fitting. We read in the entrance that they change the towels every 3 nights (we couldn't check it since we were only one night), which is a problem since every time you go to the bathroom, you have towels in the bathroom.

Maximum one night.

The hotel is located in a good position relative to the city center, you can reach it on foot in 10 minutes. The rooms are essential but very clean, bathroom in the room is not very large. The room is however equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator and a very comfortable terrace that looked directly on the beach. The structure is located in a pedestrian area but in the adjoining streets is convenient parking. Breakfast abundant but not too varied. The Wi-Fi takes only to the ground floor.

Essential and in good condition

The structure is located at the end of a pedestrian street and cannot be accessed by car. The room that was assigned to us was not the view on booking, but it was smaller and even dirtier, with a faulty closet and bathroom made inside the room. The structure should be completely renovated, starting from the elevator without the closing doors. Breakfast can go, also because it is one of the few that provides it. The location is excellent for visiting the most beautiful beaches in the area and for taking a walk back (20/25 minutes walk) to the Venetian port.
