A great location in the heart of Kampos, so close to the centre of Chios island. The building itself is unique since it’s a traditional old mansion and stands proudly in its old age, having been renovated and preserved. The rooms were spacious and full of light. Vaso, the owner was very helpful, accommodating and flexible to provide solutions for us and my pet. Little Dimitris (the owner’s son) was an additional pleasant perk with his great personality and fabulous manners. The rest of the employees were also very attentive kind and pleasant always willing to help and make our stay even more comfortable. Will definitely return back.

A great combination of tradition and comfort 

Located centrally on the island, close to the airport.  Due to the location, car hire is recommended.   The Manager was exceptionally helpful and waiting for me at my stated arrival time (had called previously to advise).   The Manager was kind enough to assist ordering me a food delivery for that evening which was very tasty.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable.  Was ideal for the one night I stayed and was fortunate enough to be provided with a late check out!

Comfortable Stay

Avoid at all costs! We had a horrible experience. We had one night in Chios and arrived around 6pm (website says check-in closes at 9pm) there was no one there with a sign to call a number. Since we are tourists we don't have a plan to make phone calls overseas so we ran into some other guests who tried to call them and there was no answer. We waited for an hour and no one was responding. We had a peak inside and everything looked abandoned with an empty pool and packed up furniture. If it wasnt for the other guests we would've thought it closed down years ago. We didn't want to waste our only night in Chios dealing with this so we had to book a different hotel. Definitely avoid this place! Ruined our trip.

Avoid at all costs!

We just managed to stay this year. The location is nice since it is in the middle of Chios, so you may rent a car and explore. Not far from Chios town and beach is accessible with a 10 min. drive. Overall nice and classic retro rooms. Cozy I would say

Classic and nice

Without doubt one of the best hotels on the island. We stayed at the hotel for a friend's wedding. The place is very clean. The rooms are big and well equiped. The staff was extremely friendly and the owner Mr.Ronald deserves a special thanks!!

An excellent accomodation

The room was below the roof of the building, therefore there wa no view. The room was relatively new and clean. The breakfast was limited in quantity and variety. The  scrounging (patio), like it was not in use. The breakfast tables outside, were rather dirty. The building was very nice concept it was renovated recently.

Stayed at the Sourediko in November 2012 for 3 days during a visit for a friend's wedding. The place is very clean, and nicely done. An old mansion brough back to life by very friendly owners. The rooms are spacious, and well eqquiped. The furniture is brand new. The breakfast was very good, most of the stuff on offer are prepared in house. The owners also have their pizza place near Hios city promenade that also offers good value for money if you are into pizza and pasta.
Overall a most enjoyable stay. I will definitelly return. But not solo this time. This establishments is meant to be enjoyed with your other half!

Excellent accomodation and good spot!

We stayed here in June 2012, for 4 nights and also attended a wedding reception in the Sourediko’s reception hall.

This Bed and Breakfast is in a recently renovated mansion and is absolutely stunning. The mansion has a reception hall/breakfast room on the main floor, rooms with huge windows on the 1st floor, and rooms with skylights (but no windows) on the 2nd floor.  

The room cost 40€ per night, was very spacious, with high ceilings, a vanity desk, a small table, chairs, a small flat-screen TV, air-conditioning and a very comfortable queen-sized bed. The bathroom is small, but very clean and efficient. The shower was very nice with good water pressure. There were some basic amenities but no hairdryer. 
There is no safe in the room, free wi-fi is provided with a moderately reliable connection, there is a small pool outside (closed during our visit) and ample free parking.

Situated in the Kampos area of Chios, it is right next to the airport, but is pretty much in the middle of nowhere relatively to all the other attractions. You absolutely need a car if you’re staying here. It’s a 10 minute drive to Chios town and 10 minute drive to Karfas beach.

Although very beautiful this B&B has several deficiencies:

- Vague reception hours; we were never quite sure when the manager would be around.

- Breakfast costs 5€ per person and consists of coffee, milk, corn flakes, a boiled egg, un-toasted bread and jam.

- A magnetic card must be inserted into a slot to activate the electricity, but a note warns it must be removed when out of the room due to a risk of fire. This effectively renders the little fridge completely useless.

- Despite the fact that the place was fully occupied with a wedding party, when we asked for an iron a few days before the wedding, we were told they didn’t have one. That’s it, end of story, no offer to get one or bring one in the next day.

- Getting in and out of the driveway is difficult and borderline dangerous.

- There is only one key per room and the door locks automatically, making it impossible to open from outside even if “unlocked”. One night I went out for drinks with the groom-to-be, leaving the key with my wife. Upon my return in the late hours of the morning I had to bang on the room door, disturbing other guests, until my wife woke up.

- The skylight in our room did not have a shade on it, so we had to sleep with eye masks.

- Communications problems: Beyond the fact that the manager speaks very little English (no French, Italian or Spanish either). When we arrived there was confusion as to why we did not have kids with us. Which is OK, mistakes happens. What was surprising is that even after I showed the manager the printed reservation confirmation which was clearly for 2 adults, they were still in disbelief and kept insisting we should have kids with us.

- The manager is a very sweet girl and she clearly means well, but she plainly lacks experience and training in customer service. 

Overall, I’m torn about this place:
It’s beautiful, brand new, very comfortable and the price can’t be beat. It worked well for us because we were attending a wedding in their reception hall.
However, unless you specifically need to be here for a function, as a tourist you would be better off to spend a little more money and stay in town or close to Karfas beach.

A beautiful recently renovated mansion, but the service is lacking and location is poor.
