The hotel is located just one minute walk from the central square of Methoni and close to the other attractions on f this small town.
It is run by a very friendly family.
Rooms are basic but quiet.
Easy parking in the field beside the hotel.
Fairly priced.

Good Family Hotel

I visit this hotel every year,like I visit Methoni every year for the past 10 years. It's a very cheap and nice hotel. In a very convenient spot near the sea and generally all the restaurants, cafe's and attractions. It's not lux or anything.But it has whatever a person needs for a comfortable stay. Totally recommended for families who want a peaceful stay.The hotel is owned by a family and they are very friendly and helpful. If you want a cheap stay at Methoni, then visit this hotel.

Amazing stay 

The Galini Hotel is a true budget option in Methoni.  The room was clean and cool but very basic. It is convenienly located to beach and shops.  Quite noisy until very late at night because of a playpark a few metres away and the kids playing until close to midnight.

The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Stay in September

We were placed in this hotel after Hotel Alex could not fulfill the reservation made over expedia. We were charged the same price as Hotel Alex, this was Alexis issue though, for a hotel at least two levels below although next to the other one. 

Hotel was relatively clean, but shower curtains were too short which made the after shower experience a very unpleasant one as we were stepping on a wet floor all the time 

Our room was in the ground floor and we had no privacy as opening the balcony meant having people walk by our room 

This was an accident, and if the price would have been half of what we paid, I would have given it at least one level higher rating 

Good owners, clean, too basic

The simple things in life are sometimes the best - and Hotel Galini is the perfect example. 

Simple, yet the hotel has everything you need. Rooms are spacious and have cupboard space, private bathroom, TV, fridge and airconditioning which works very well. Free wireless internet throughout the hotel works well and always provides a stable connection. Like any family run hotel, the owners are very welcoming and friendly people always looking to help where they can.

Located approximately 50 metres from the main square, which leads onto the beautiful beach. Fantastic walking out the room, and being at the beach only moments after. Have stayed here a few times, and will continue to do so - highly recommended come try for yourself, you won't regret it!

the perfect hotel in the perfect location

We arrived in Methoni on our large motorbike early in the afternoon.  We didn't have a booking so we left the bike in the public car park and went wandering around.  There are plenty of larger establishments (none very big) but the Galini looked small and attractive.

It's run by a very helpful family who helped us park the bike in their back yard and showed us to a very clean and pleasant room overlooking a children's playground.  The sons of the house helped us get onto the free wireless internet connection.

We had a very pleasant overnight stay and woke refreshed the next morning to continue our tour of the Peloponnese.

The hotel is not very large and has no 'fancy' facilities.  We did not want any of those.  Our room had private bathroom, fridge and Air Conditioning.  I can't even remember whether it had a television!  So, not luxury, but everything we needed and very good value for money.
