When we came to the reception, FIRST we had to pay. I never had such experience and I am 66 yeasr old and have a lot of experience. The reason why we understood when we went into the so called "Deluxe room"! It was a teribble simple room and many would was just painted simple. The room and bath room looks like a 2 star hotel, even I never had been - onyl in the old time in East Europe. We claimed at the reception, but no other room availble, since I arrived late, I had no other choise then to stay for a very high price! I DO NOT RECOMMAND AT ALL THIS HOTEL!

Terrible very expensive stay - not anymore

We’re staying here now 2 rooms family of 4.
Location is excellent with parking that’s much needed here.
Front desk staff is very pleasant and nice. 
Rooms are good all with views.  Housekeeping staff polite but very loud.
The biggest disappointment and insult was the lady working in the lobby bar.
We were gifted a nice bottle of Champagne by friends.
I had asked permission if I could enjoy it with my family in the lobby bar ( rather the. The 4 of us have it on 
the room) where there was no where to really sit but the bed.
The lady ; will get her name) was rude when we asked her for some glasses ( we did tip her) and then proceeded to ask us for a 30 euro corking fee!!  Also when we told her we had gotten permission I saw her running to ask, as accusing me of lying!! . . Other people that witnessed the entire episode said “ the staff is not cultured “, and that it was obnoxious. It’s too bad that this happened as I work with one of the largest agencies In NYC and I felt insulted from this woman.  She. Could have been graceful but 
apparently has no customer service skills ir as other. Itinerary that witnessed what happened said not cultured and just seasonal staff.
The night before my husband and I had drinks in the same bar, the gentleman from the Ukraine working there was very nice. Ofcourse we ordered from the menu but if it had been her I don’t think her attitude would be any better.
She obviously has not travelled or has experience.

Service

I was on a business trip for 2 nights and our company booked us this hotel in the centre of Arahova. It's in a magnificent spot right next to everything. It's quite, clean, comfy to walk around everywhere and with a fantastic view to the mountains. Also warm rooms and convenient parking for your car. 
I would suggest it without a doubt!

Very nice!

Pros:
-	The hotel has an excellent location, walking distance from most taverns, shops and center. 
-	The view from my room was nice, good to take pictures 
-	Rooms are spacious. 
-	The lobby has a nice warm environment, nice to enjoy a drink or tea.

Cons:
-	Random water leaks from the toilet in room 107 (Nothing major… random water puddles seemed to appear out of nowhere), Since my stay was short I did not want to waste time asking for assistance/ having a plumber in my room etc., so I cleaned it myself

-	Gym was not functioning. I love working out in the mornings and since I saw online that the hotel provided a Gym I brought my workout attire… What a waste of space in my luggage  

-	Rooms provide slippers, but do not provide robes. I found this surprising since this is mandatory in 5 stars hotels.

-	During the last night of my stay around 4:00 am… I was coming back to the hotel, tired and exhausted, to find a RAT in my room. Thankfully, my sister was able to scare the rat and we never saw it again… Hopefully it left or went back to the rat-hole it came out from.

-	Mini Bar Overpriced. Buy snacks from the ‘’Periptero’’/kiosk downstairs…

-	Requested late check-out but it was not possible since the hotel was closing. I understand if another guest would be checking in after me… but the hotel was CLOSING… I do not understand what was the problem… I was willing to pay extra.

It was GOOD-OKAY

A gorgeous winter hotel with a glorious past. The establishment has been elegantly renovated as well maintaining the original glamour of the renowned Xenia hotels of Greece. 

Very well situated in the heart of Arachova village and within walking distance to all of the top spots to visit, after a day of skiing or other outdoor winter delights. 

The atmosphere is friendly and warm. The common area is inviting and friendly with a large fireplace and luxuriously warm lounges and arm chairs, where you can enjoy a brandy or exotic tea. 

The rooms are cosy and generous in size.  They are also well equipped with quality furnishings and exceptionally well renovated and clean bathrooms.

Breakfast at the Santa Marina apart from a who is who of Greek society is also a wonderful experience given the generous and quality buffet with a gorgeous valley view. 

With free parking in front of the hotel , the parking issues of Arachova village are a distant memory. 

Well worth a visit for a winter getaway with a few great places to wine and dine within walking distance. 

Top marks also for hospitable staff. 



Elegantly cosy winter hotel 

We stayed here in April with my family during the Greek Easter holiday. We had a double room overlooking the mountains and valley. The hotel is in a great location just at the end of the high street with private parking which is needed there. The hotel needs some cosmetic renovation although the lounge was tastefully decorated with a very nice fireplace and bar. The breakfast area needs updating and the breakfast could be better. The staff was polite and was reasonably priced.

Great location

We spent a lovely Greek Easter weekend at the hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Located next to the start of the Main Street of Arachova it is about two and a half hours from Athens by car and a further 10-15 minutes to the fantastic ancient ruins of Delphi so it’s a perfect place to say and explore the area. Also close to the ski facilities for a winter break.
The reception area leads to a lovely bar come lounge area nicely decorated and a lovely wood burning fire.
Our room was huge with a large comfortable bed which was leading to a huge covered balcony/veranda with magnificent views over the valley towards Delphi.
The bathroom was large with a shower cubicle and also a bath with overhead shower.
The furniture look dated and need changing but we had no problem as the room and bathroom were clean and functional.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
One huge plus of the hotel is the private parking area which in Arachova you definitely need as the place gets very very busy.
The breakfast was good enough with fairly good choice and again friendly and helpful staff.
You can get snacks at the bar area in the evening but for everything else you need to go out but you are within everything you need as soon as you walk out of the hotel, bars restaurants shops etc.
One thing I must say it’s that the hotel is very quiet even though in the centre of a very busy town.
We will visit again.

Perfect location in Arachova

New and very well-equipped resort hotel just outside Arachova on the ski slopes roads, very uncleaned swimming pool, beautiful views of the sea and the snowy mountains of the Peloponnese, romantic and fantastic sunsets, hotel set on several floors, nice hall, interesting Cocketil bar, a little far from the city centre, where it is difficult to drive
