Nice family run hotel in cycladic style, three minutes walk from the heart of Chora and its Kastro.
Close to restaurants, shops and minimarket, five minutes walk from the bus stop and on the way to Panagia church, the landmark of the island. Nice and clean rooms with every amenities, friendly staff and free transfer from and to the port. Great place to stay, highly recommended. 



Perfect location on the outskirts of Chora. Charming, spacious room, good storage, nice terrace with a view over the village to the hills. Bougainvillea right up front! Friendly and helpful hosts who pick up and drop off at the ferry. The bathroom was a wet room and the floor got wet and slippery when we used the shower despite trying to be careful. The floormat was handy for mopping up. Would love to stay here again!

Not one thing for me to complain about.  Location is perfect, the small road that runs by it is quiet, management couldn't be more helpful.  Liked the room setup.  Didn't need a thing.  Pickup and dropoff at the ferry.  Tremendous stay.

Meltemi is the most beautiful hotel, everything is pristine. The room was gorgeous and very tastefully decorated, even had a little fridge. The bathroom was lovely and spotlessly clean. The brilliant white of the building along with the dark blue woodwork and bright pink bougainvillea make it a dream of a place to stay.  Christos was so helpful, he picked us up at the port and took us back at the end of our stay. Meltemi is ideally situated just off the square so it's easy to get to all the restaurants, shops and the miriad of quaint little streets. Kastro is very close by as is the square, where it's ideal for sunset shots.  Straight up the hill takes you to the church via the zig zag path, well worth the climb. All in all I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this little gem to anyone. You'll love it as much as we did. 

Stayed in May when there were only few guests in the hotel. It's a pretty basic place but they keep it clean and tidy, and the owners are very welcoming. I thought it was wonderfully reasonably priced in a lovely location. The room was able to be completely darkened and cooled so that I had no idea what time of day it is which was handy as I was severely jetlagged, 8 time zones away from home. The bed is on the hard side. I'll definitely be back!

Hotel Meltemi is situated beside the path up to the Monastery, less than 5 minutes walk from the centre of Chora, and similarly close to the (new) bus "station". It has always been our accommodation of choice on visits to Folegandros, the first being almost 20 years ago. If anything the hotel has improved - wifi has been introduced, rooms are now serviced daily (used to be less frequent) - but, amazingly, room process remain very reasonable. The rooms are put together in a Greek "modular" style, with each being slightly different, something that adds to their charm. All rooms come with balcony access, most being private to the room. Balconies are furnished with a table and two chairs, ideal for leisurely breakfasts or a pre-dinner drink (in our case, over a game of cards). And a drying rack - overnight is just right for getting those beach towels dry for another arduous day on the beach :-) .

I am currently on my last day at these apartments. The location is great as they are very near to the main town centre. 

The room was nice and clean and the building is very pretty.  My only negative comment would be no kettle available in the room and Wi-Fi issues.

Meltemi Apartments Chora

We stayed 3 nights in August, we had a triple room, very clean, the bed was confortable, and the third bed was a sofa, so that was good. To have hot water we needed to turn on a switch and wait 10 minutes, there was no shower curtain, so it did get a bit wet, but ok. The location was perfect, right in the center of the chora. The wifi wasn't perfect, the reception was better outside. Outside our room we had a small table and two chairs which was nice, it was a bit disappointing that our outdoor space was shared with another room, so no privacy at all. But the view was great. The air conditioning worked well. In peak season we paid € 90/night (without breakfast).

Nice hotel, right in the heart of  the Chora!

Honestly I was about to giving a 0 star rating if that was possible. The worst experience I have faced in a hotel. They take 0 measures against the Covid-19, they change the towels and the linen inside the rooms without gloves. The third day of my stay I caught them inside my room without gloves and mask. Furthermore they asked us to pay by cash and they never provided the receipt. No hospitality, no professionalism and no safety here!
