Absolutely amazing location. Thank you Irene for the transfer to an from the port. Fabulous views from our room. Very clean. Good shower. Kettle and coffee in room. Toiletries supplied. Would recommend to anyone. Steep walk back to hotel but manageable at 60 years of age

Perfect for short stay

I've been 3 times in Folegandros and I have stayed in the same hotel.
Great location as you just walk to go to Chora, very nice view, clean rooms, tidy. Mrs Irini is so kind and welcoming.
I definitely recommend it.
She will also come and pick you up from the port

Great location,  view and people 

Had a lovely stay here. Irene was really kind and helpful over email and throughout my stay. She let me check in early as well as check out late, based on the ferry schedule, which I really appreciated. She gave me a map after I settled in and showed me places that I could visit and where to eat (many restaurants were still closed when I arrived). Free large bottle of water in the room, and complimentary pick up and drop off at the port. I also needed to wash some clothes after a few sweaty hikes and she provided me with a small tub. 

The only issue I had was with the wifi, but to be fair, she told me ahead of time that the wifi didn't work in my room (you had to be on the balcony or just outside the door). She offered to change my room if it was going to be an issue, but I liked the room and the view so much I decided to just deal with it :p . Also, there is no shower curtain so move the toilet paper far away before you wash, otherwise, you're going to end up with a soaked roll like I did :). 

Because she is actually a resident of Folegandros, her hotel was one of the few that were open in May, but I would stay there again even with more choices available!

Beautiful hotel on a beautiful island

We were recommended this hotel when another we had tried to book was full.
We arrived into the port at midnight as our ferry was 2 hours late and still a transfer was available 😀.
We were delighted with the position of the hotel and then the view from our room , the blue sea and sky and then look up to Panagia Church.
Stunning!!!
The short walk into Chora was easy and felt very safe with no cars in the centre.
The room was a good size and very comfortable bed - shower and bathroom all good and there was a safe in the room.
Breakfast is available and plentiful.
Would stay again and would recommend.

Very nice apartments, very good location and very welcoming owners.  Mrs Eirini is a very nice person and very calm. The apartments are clean, big and nice. The view is very nice and the location just 5 minutes walk from the main part of the island

Stayed here 3 nights. Very good location very close to town. Rooms lovely very spacious with nice shower. Nice balcony or terraces for each room.  Very helpful and also close to bus stop.  Breakfast available with excellent home made cake

Lovely stay

We visited Folegandros for a 2 week break Hiking and beaching. Irene could not have been more helpful during the booking process even helping organise car hire birthday cake and bubbles! Nor more helpful during our stay. Nice room. Promised a balcony with sea view and that's what we got. Good size shower room. V. Clean. Just far enough away from the town centre for it to be quiet. Stunning views from our balcony. Thanks Irene.

Perfect no frills

We have booked some rooms at hotel Horizon for the guests of our wedding. The rooms are really nice decorated, with excellent view to Chora, Church and sea! They are extremely clean and have a perfect rate from quality t price! The location is ideal, next to the center of Chora, but a bit quiet and comfortable! We absolutely recommend the hotel for your stay in Folegandros! 
The hotel owner, Irini, is a lovely person, always willing to help! Thank you very much for everything! Hope to meet again soon!

Wonderful hotel, nice view, pleasant staff

Such a charming little hotel just on the outside of the town centre. The view was incredible of the church at the top of the hill. 

It was super quiet and very accessible. The host was fantastic and picked us up and dropped us off to the port at no extra cost. The rooms were spacious and clean. It was a great experience!

Such a gem

Hotel Horizon is close to Chora. Its rooms have adequate space and were very clean. Their strongest advantage was the fantastic view of all Chora, the sea beyond and the "landmark" of Folegandros, the church on top of the hill. Moreover, the price was reasonable compared to the rather expensive prices of hotels in Folegandros. In addition to these, the hotel offers free transfer from/to the port, which is really helpful.
