Our fourth visit to Folegandros and our fourth stay at Solaris, great location overlooking the Chora, nice, very clean, comfortable rooms and a warm welcome every time. Less than a 10 minute stroll to the central squares for dinner if you don’t get distracted by one of the cocktail bars. If you do it might take a little longer! Stroll home might be a little steep but all the better to arrive home with great Greek island legs.

Warm Folegandros Welcome

A really lovely hotel with an amazing view across Chora. Valentini and the team were really friendly and super helpful. The rooms were very large with extremely comfortable beds. The team made breakfast to order and nothing was too much trouble. I cant recommend enough and will definitely stay at Solaris again

Superb Hotel

Best experience in Folegandros. Location just outside Chora (the main town) with great views overlooking Chora and the monastery on top of it. Our room was super clean and big, in typical Cycladic style. We recommend having breakfast just near the pool. Special thanks to Valentini and her team, we really felt at home and can’t wait to come back again!

Perfect stay

perfect experiences.  we stayed just a few days in Folegandros and one of the reasons we didn't explore away from the lovely Hora and its churches, is because this hotel felt so nice and relaxed, particularly the wonderful swimming pool and pool area. The rooms are clean and nice, very good breakfast served by the pool area at flexible times in the morning and service/personal as nice warm and professional as it gets.
In our usual "Family Rating" whenever we leave a place, tje number 1 favourite thing in Folegamdros was this hotel. 5 stars can't be more deserved.

perfect hotel for some days in Folegandros 5 minutes from Hora's centre

We returned in Folegandros after five years and spent ten days at Solaris hotel as at that time.
It’s a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful place and Valentini the owner is so nice and always ready to make us feel better.
Thé hotel is on a hill just in front the Chora that you can reach in 5 min walking.
A few rooms, all with terrace and view to the sea, thé Chora and the  Abbey.
A beautiful pool with a wonderful view equipped with confortable beds, towels, shower and toilets depandàce.
Thé rooms are big and confortable well decorated in white and blue colors.
You can have a good breakfast in the patio full of parfumed trees.
We thanks Solaris for a wonderful stay. Will come back for sure.

Wonderful Experience in Folegandros

We spent a few nights at this lovely hotel on the most beautiful Greek Island. The room was comfortable, with the added bonus of a second bed which was very useful. The pool overlooks the town. The location is exceptional. It is a 5 minute stroll to the little town with the most wonderful bars and restaurants. We loved it and would love to return.

Comfortable with a great pool

This well maintained and clean hotel is in a perfect position in Chora. A friendly pick up and drop off at the port, a beautiful pool to watch the sunset. A very short stroll to all the cafes, restaurants and bars in Chora. We had two rooms and they were both large and comfortable. Would love to come and stay again!

Exceptional,highly recommended holidays destination 

My daughter and I spend 3 great nights at this little gem of a hotel. We were lucky to find a room as this island packs fast in peak season. Our room was spacious with a king bed and a fantastic verandah with a view of the Chora, sea and monastery.  The pool was an added bonus with plenty of deck chairs and nice ambience. Beach towels were provided which is a great when your island hopping for weeks. The best part of our stay was Valentini the lady that ran the hotel.  She is what ‘Greek hospitality’ should be and not just running a business. She genuinely cares for her guests and nothing is too much for her.  She was so responsive to every question and request and I left with such a good feeling of her hotel and fond memories of Folegandros. Thank u for being a great host Valentini and keep up the good work!!!!

Exceptional hotel and the best host

We loved this little hotel in Folegandros. It has a beautiful view over Chora and the Aegean sea. It is close to the center, has a lovely swimming pool and a great breakfast. It is quiet and we had the pool almost to ourselves every day. The owner picks you up at the ferry and in general you get a lot for your money. The rooms are spacious and has private balconies. I will highly recommend it to anyone considering a visit.
