We were welcomed like part of the family from start to finish.
If you decide to stay with this family you will not regret it.
Maria’s breakfast was outstanding and at a very reasonable price. Homemade cake. Spinach pie and spanakopita were delicious. What we couldn’t manage to eat was packed for later in a picnic box.
Lots of great advice about buses,beaches and tavernas.
Accommodation was spacious and perfect. Very clean and comfortable bed. Lovely terrace with sea view and relaxing garden for our use. Can’t thank them enough for their hospitality.
We will definitely visit again in the future and stay at the Aegean star

Everything was perfect : warm welcome, pretty and large room, a terrasse you'd wish to spend the rest of your life on, reading, sipping coffee, doing nothing ...
A lovely place and very kind owners.
Nota : absolutely try the small pies for breakfast, they are a chef d'oeuvre !

Just Great !

This is without a doubt the best Hotel we have been to for a long time in Greece. This is a family run establishment offering Bed and Breakfast. ( The breakfast is wonderful you and you will leave the table more than sated).
The family are the most hospitable people going out of their way to ensure your holiday is comfortable and totally without problems. Their generosity of spirit and kindness of heart is outstanding. 
The rooms are well proportioned with a balcony, spotlessly clean and serviced daily. 
It’s location is a 10 minute slow walk from the port with tavernas and shops. 
You will not be disappointed with this Hotel.

Great Family run hotel

The room was very spacious, cosy and clean. Giannis and his family helped us with everything, renting a car, beaches to go … their hospitality, kindness and friendliness made our trip unforgettable. Giannis’ wife breakfast were excellent.

Fantastic stay

My fiance and I stayed for three nights in the Aegean Star and had a wonderful time. A very friendly and welcoming family-run hotel, this is a great place to stay in the port on Folegandros. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with great outdoor spaces (balconies for the first floor, patios below) for a coffee in the morning. We were overwhelmed by the kindness and hospitality and I hope that next time we come to this beautiful island, we will be able to stay at Aegean Star again.

Had a 3 day stay at the Aegean Star and I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the beautiful island of Folegrandos.
Elena and her family couldn't do enough for us, the setting and location was perfect.
Rooms immaculate, the breakfasts were amazing! Will definitely call here again 


Wonderful stay at the Aegean Star 

Staff so welcoming and friendly. Yan, owner, couldn't have done more to make our visit to folegandros special. Big thanks to Helena for scrumptious breakfast in lovely patio area overlooking mountains and sea. Great location to beach and to get the boat. Highly recommend aegean star. My cousins have also stayed and loved it. Ps try the home grown honey and olive oil, what's not to love !!

Home from home

Very friendly family who helped us for renting a car. Nice room with terrace. Good breakfast. Very convenient location : 5 minutes away from the beach of the port. Easy access walking for the ferries. Calm location.

Nice small hotel 

We stayed there 4 nights in July 2019. Very new, big and clean rooms. Lovely garden with a seaview.  You can watch ferries sailing to and from Folegandros. Excellent place to stay on this island. Most of all very kind and friendly family running this hotel. Great place.

A great place to stay in Folegandros

Comfortable air conditioned rooms ideally situated literally 5 minutes up from the beach and the crystal clear waters of Folegandros . This is our second stay with John and his adorable family who go out of their way to make your stay as memorable as possible. Plus Maria makes a homemade moussaka that words alone cannot describe, just give her a day's notice. We'll be back!
